STRETCH BLOW-MOLDED PLASTIC CONTAINER, IN PARTICULAR PLASTIC BOTTLE, FOR COMPENSATING VOLUME CHANGES OF THE FILLING MATERIAL, AND PREFORM
A stretch blow-molded plastic container, including a container body, one longitudinal end of which is closed by a container bottom and to whose other longitudinal end is connected a shoulder section; and a container neck, which connects to the shoulder section, the shoulder section having at least two hinge-like areas that run in a circumferential direction, and which areas are arranged at a distance (a) from one another and in each case have a wall thickness (v, w) that is reduced compared to the adjoining areas, the stretch blow-molded plastic container having a total stretching ratio of greater than 11 for a longitudinal stretching ratio of 2.5 to 3.5.
Method of manufacturing liquid container
A method of manufacturing a liquid container in which a liquid is stored in a storage space of the container including a mouth, a body and a bottom, the body having a lateral folding line portion being foldable when the body is flattened in a thickness direction and extending in a circumferential direction of the body, the method including a liquid blow molding step of molding a container filled full with a liquid in a storage space by placing a preform in a mold and performing liquid blow molding; and a headspace forming step of forming a headspace in which, by separating the container filled with a liquid from the container, the body is deformed in a direction in which a thickness is increased in an area of the lateral folding line portion and a volume of the storage space is increased.
Post mold manufacturing container having an integral collapsible spout
A method of post mold manufacturing a container having an integral collapsible spout molded in an extended position with flashing surrounding the integral collapsible spout. An outflow transporting means is moving the container from a blow molding machine to a trimming finishing station where flashing is removed and the container trimmed to specifications. The container is then transported to a spout collapsing station with integral collapsible spout in the molded extended position where it is compressed to a fully collapsed position. This process is completed while the material used in molding the integral collapsible spout is thermally pliable, permitting the integral collapsible spout to be transformed from the molded extended position, to the fully collapsed position.
PROCESS FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF DUAL-CHAMBER CONTAINERS FOR FLUID PRODUCTS OF THE MEDICAL, PHARMACEUTICAL, COSMETIC TYPE OR THE LIKE, AND RELATED STRIP
Process for the manufacture of dual-chamber containers (1) includes steps of: shaping one layer of a plastic material to form at least one semi-finished product (2); closing the semi-finished product (2) inside a forming mould (3); blowing an expansion gas to make the semi-finished product (2) adhere to the forming mould (3) to form a strip (6) comprising at least one pair of vials (7a, 7b), wherein each of the vials (7a, 7b) is provided with: a hollow body (9) comprising a substantially flat first wall (8a) and a substantially curved second wall (8b); a closed delivery neck (12); and an open bottom tang (14);
and wherein the hollow bodies (9) are joined together through a folding attachment portion (11); folding the pair of vials (7a, 7b) around the folding attachment portion (11) between an extended configuration, wherein the first walls (8a) are substantially coplanar, and a configuration of use, wherein the first walls (8a) are facing each other and brought close to each other to obtain a dual-chamber container (1).
Container with a reinforced base and method for manufacturing such a container
Container having a body and a bottom that together delimit an internal primary volume of the container, this container also comprising a protruding base comprising an outer wall and an inner wall, the base comprising a skirt which protrudes from the region of the join between the body and the bottom, and a foot which lies at a lower end of the skirt and defines a setting-down plane for the container, in which container: the walls are locally welded together in the region of the skirt; the foot forms a hollow bulge, and the outer wall, the inner wall and the setting-down plane together define a secondary volume isolated from the primary volume by the weld.
Container with a reinforced base, and method for manufacturing such a container
Container (1) having a body (6) and a bottom (7) that together delimit an internal primary volume (11) of the container (1), this container (1) also comprising a protruding base (12) comprising an outer wall and an inner wall, the base (12) comprising a skirt which protrudes from the region (8) of the join between the body (6) and the bottom (7), and a foot which lies at a lower end of the skirt and defines a setting-down plane for the container (1), in which container: the walls are locally welded together in the region of the skirt; the foot forms a hollow bulge, and the outer wall, the inner wall and the setting-down plane together define a secondary volume isolated from the primary volume (11) by the weld.
