Humidity-stable package of disposable absorbent articles with wetness indicators
A package comprising a plurality of disposable absorbent articles contained in an outer wrap is disclosed. The outer wrap is formed of a film having a thickness and has a path of scoring that partially but not completely penetrates the thickness, and defines a path of weakness in the film along which tear propagation is facilitated.
Flexible packaging structure with built-in tamper-evidence features and method for making same
A flexible packaging laminate has built-in opening/reclose and tam per-evidence features by forming the laminate from an outer structure joined in face-to-face relation to an inner structure. Score lines are formed in both structures to enable an opening to be formed through the laminate by lifting a flap or the like out of the plane of the laminate. The score line through the outer structure defines a larger opening than the score line through the inner structure, such that a marginal region of the outer structure extends beyond the edge of the opening portion of the inner structure. A pressure-sensitive adhesive is used to re-adhere the marginal region to an underlying surface of the inner structure adjacent the opening through the laminate. The outer score line includes at least one tear portion that is torn through upon initial opening, thus indicating the package has been at least partially opened.
Cover for an airbag device, interior trim part and method for manufacturing a cover
A cover for an airbag device disposed on a supporting portion including an exit opening for an airbag, which is covered with a cover component. The cover includes a cover layer applied to the supporting portion and the cover component, the cover layer being weakened along a weakening line in or near a hinge region of the cover component.
Cover panel for a cabin of a vehicle and provided with a weakening for the opening of an underlying airbag
A cover panel for a cabin of a vehicle and provided with a weakening for the opening of an underlying airbag. The weakening consists of a sequence of not-through incisions which are separated from each other, are arranged along a weakening line, are obtained from an internal surface of the cover panel, and terminate at a non-zero distance from an external surface of the cover panel. In some sections of the weakening line there are first incisions each having a first width while in other sections of the weakening line there are second incisions each having a second width greater than the first width. The weakening line has a plurality of portions that connect to one another in at least one connection area, wherein the corresponding portions of the weakening line consist of the second incisions only while, next to the connection area, the corresponding portions of the weakening line consist of the first incisions only.

A pressure-sensitive adhesive is used to re-adhere the marginal region to an underlying surface of the inner structure adjacent the opening through the laminate. The outer score line includes at least one tear portion that is torn through upon initial opening, thus indicating the package has been at least partially opened.

The outer score line includes at least one tab positioned within a heat seal region of the laminate.
UNIVERSALLY USABLE DEVICE FOR PRODUCING A PREDETERMINED BREAKING LINE IN AN EQUIPMENT PART OF A VEHICLE
A universally usable device for producing a predetermined breaking line in an equipment part of a vehicle. The device includes a laser beam generator, a laser scanner and a linear or matrix-shaped first sensor arrangement with first individual sensors of an identical first sensitivity and at least one identical linear or matrix-shaped second sensor arrangement of second individual sensor, which is arranged with an offset to the first sensor arrangement of first individual sensors, and the second individual sensors have an identical second sensitivity which differs from the first sensitivity.
FLOUR-BASED SHAPE-CHANGING FOODS, METHODS, SYSTEMS AND DEVICES
Methods for creating flour-based shape-changing food by creating grooves in the surface of a dough layer before exposing the dough to stimuli during dehydration (e.g., baking) or hydration (e.g., boiling) processes. A tailored computational design tool, digital fabrication platform and mold for use with the methods also are provided.
Method of forming pattern of cured product as well as production methods for processed substrate, optical component, circuit board, electronic component, imprint mold and imprint pretreatment coating material
Provided is a method of producing a cured product pattern, including: a first step (arranging step) of arranging a layer formed of a curable composition (α1′) that is the components of the curable composition (α1) except the component (D) serving as a solvent on a substrate; and a second step (applying step) of applying droplets of a curable composition (α2) discretely onto the layer formed of the curable composition (α1), the curable composition (α1) having a number concentration of particles each having a particle diameter of 0.07 μm or more of less than 2,021 particles/mL, and the curable composition (α1′) having a surface tension larger than that of the curable composition (α2).
METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION AND FILLING OF CONTAINERS DESIGNED TO CONTAIN FOOD
A method for the production and filling of containers designed to contain food, includes the steps of shaping a sheet made of PET (polyethylene terephthalate) in order to provide accommodation receptacles provided with at least one access inlet; filling, through the access inlet, the accommodation receptacles with at least one food; sealing the access inlet using a closure film; and providing a weakened portion at a connecting edge between at least two adjacent accommodation receptacles.
The final degree of crystallinity at the weakened portion is lower than, equal to, or greater than, at most by a percentage equal to 3%, the degree of crystallinity of portions of the connecting edge not affected by modifications occurring as a consequence of the step of emission of laser radiation and of the sealing step.
