Interlocking frame system and components therefor

A structural assembly for a recreational vehicle includes a first structural frame member and a second structural frame member with a side wall having a slot for receiving the side wall of the first structural frame member through a notch formed in the side wall and upper wall of the first structural frame member. The upper wall of the second structural frame member is located in the notch when the second structural frame member is engaged with the side wall of the first structural frame member with the slot.

Continuous fiber reinforced composite and metal electrofusion coupler

Disclosed embodiments provide an electrofusion pipe coupler with mechanical support. The electrofusion pipe coupler comprises a coupler housing. A wire is configured and disposed within the housing. Electrodes are affixed to the coupler housing and in electrical contact with the wire. A threaded pattern is formed in an outer surface of the coupler housing. Gripping wedges are affixed to the coupler housing. Each gripping wedge extends from the coupler housing. A nut is attached to the coupler housing, engaging with the threaded pattern, and compressing the wedges against the connecting pipes. This serves to provide axial load transfer from the connecting pipes to the coupler housing via the wedges, thereby providing improved mechanical stability for such pipe assemblies.

OVERMOLDED CONNECTORS FOR TUBING

Tubing systems are described herein. A tubing system can include a tubing assembly, a tubing system component, and a coupling portion. The tubing assembly includes a tubing and a tubing assembly connector coupled to the tubing. The tubing assembly connector defines a connector lumen in fluid communication with the tubing lumen. The tubing assembly connector has a tubing assembly connector elastic modulus greater than the tubing elastic modulus. The tubing system component has a component connector abutted against the tubing assembly connector. The component connector has a component connector elastic modulus greater than the tubing elastic modulus. The coupling portion is overmolded over the tubing assembly connector and the component connector to couple the tubing to the tubing system component.

The bioreaction vessel comprises an aperture configured to provide an interface for monitoring contents within the bioreaction vessel. The bioreaction vessel also comprises a port coupled to the bioreaction vessel proximate the aperture. The bioreactor sensing system also comprises a sensing device disposed at least partially within the port such that a sensing element is exposed to the contents. The bioreactor sensing system also comprises an external seal configured to be applied over a portion of the sensing device and a portion of the port.

Process for joining overlapping thermoplastic membrane components

A method of joining overlapping thermoplastic roofing membrane components in which a first thermoplastic roofing membrane component and a second roofing membrane component are positioned in overlapping relationship between a pair of complementary molding surfaces. Heat is generated in a metal substrate and transferred by thermal conduction from the metal substrate to overlapping portions of the first and second thermoplastic roofing membrane components to locally melt and coalesce a portion or more of the thermoplastic material of the first thermoplastic roofing membrane component and a portion or more of the thermoplastic material of the second thermoplastic roofing membrane component. The molten thermoplastic material of the first and second thermoplastic roofing membrane components forms a zone of coalesced thermoplastic material that, upon cooling, forms a solid weld joint.

Method for inspecting a weld

A method for inspecting a weld of plastic pipes by means of a data processing device, comprising: capturing and storing documents; monitoring and recording the installation and the implementation of the weld of the joint; producing a welding report, or adopting a welding report from the welding machine; testing the weld ultrasonically, wherein the test detects and stores the defects that are in the weld; wherein software is used to capture and store the documents, the welding report and the defects, more specifically the data on said defects, wherein an algorithm of the software is used to evaluate the stored documents, reports, defects and data on said defects, and to classify the welded joint as compliant or non-compliant with the requirements.

Plumbing Connections

A plumbing fitting of a first plastic material comprises at least one annular branch defining a hollow port. A sleeve of a second plastic material can be inserted into the hollow port. The sleeve is retained within the hollow port by a retaining member which is fitted to the outer end and outer wall of the annular branch. The sleeve is configured to facilitate attachment of the plumbing fitting to a second plumbing fitting by insertion of the second plumbing fitting into the hollow port, wherein the second plumbing fitting is of the second plastic material.

TUBE END DETECTION
20170361538 · 2017-12-21 ·

A method, and an apparatus associated therewith, for detecting plastic tube ends clamped in a butt welding machine, the plastic tube ends being planed by means of a plane, which can be introduced between the plastic tube ends, and subsequently being heated by means of a heating mirror, which can be introduced between the plastic tube ends, and the plastic tube ends are welded together after removal of the heating mirror, the plane and/or the heating mirror being tilted in between the plastic tube ends by means of a controlled movement, wherein detection or sensing of the plastic tube ends during the controlled movement of tilting in the plane and/or the heating mirror is carried out by means of at least one sensor arranged on the plane and/or on the heating mirror.

CLAMPING RING AND METHOD OF FORMING THE SAME
