A fusion welding device, comprising a fusion welding work motor, a fusion welding work moving assembly, and a fusion welding work fixed assembly, the fusion welding work motor being connected to the fusion welding work moving assembly by means of a transmission mechanism. The fusion welding device is provided with a central connection component that is able to rotate, and the central connection component is provided with a first input position, a second input position, and a locking structure connection position. The present fusion welding device is able to implement automatic band pressing and fusion welding work by means of relatively simple structural cooperation, and by means of differently transmitted front and back connections and changes in engagement, and is able to automatically lift the fusion welding work moving assembly without requiring a handle or related operations.

Sidewall bonder and method for bonding sidewalls to thermoplastic belts
A bonder and a method for bonding corrugated sidewalls to a thermoplastic belt at a splice joint. Two heating jaw assemblies with complementary and confronting corrugated vertical faces clamp a thermoplastic belt to a base of the bonder with a corrugated sidewall section separated from the belt across a splice joint received in a corrugated slot formed between the confronting vertical faces. Corrugated bonding strips at the bottoms of the corrugated vertical faces apply heat to melt the bottom of the sidewall section on opposite sides to bond the corrugated sidewall section to the base.
Method and apparatus for welding a thermoset object to a further object via thermoplastic outer layers
A method and an apparatus for welding a first object to a second object, wherein the first object is produced from a thermoset and comprises a thermoplastic material outer layer, wherein the second object comprises at least one thermoplastic material outer layer. In addition, a layer of carbon nanotubes is applied to the thermoplastic material outer layer of the first object, and the second object is placed onto the first object. At least some of the thermoplastic material outer layer of the second object lies atop the applied layer of carbon nanotubes. In addition, a potential is applied to the layer of carbon nanotubes, such that an electrical current flows through the carbon nanotubes, wherein the thermoplastic material outer layer of the first object and the thermoplastic material outer layer of the second object are heated and are welded to one another.

The invention relates to a sealing device (100) and a method for heat sealing packaging material for producing sealed packages. The invention also relates to a filling machine. The sealing device (100) comprises a first jaw (110) comprising an electromagnet (112), and a second jaw (120) comprising a magnetic element (122). The second jaw (120) is arranged opposite to the first jaw (110) to form a gap adapted to receive the packaging material, such that the first jaw (110) and the second jaw (120) are attracted to each other upon actuation of the electromagnet (112) to close the gap and clamp the packaging material between the first jaw (110) and the second jaw (120).

There is described a packaging apparatus (1) for forming sealed packages (2) from a tube (3). The packaging apparatus (1) has an endless conveyor device (7) arranged in a conveyor zone (8), conveying carts (9) and operative units (10, 10) moved by the plurality of conveying carts (9) along a path (P, Q). Each operative unit (10, 10) moves between an operative configuration, in which the operative unit (10, 10) manipulates the tube (3) and a rest configuration in which the operative unit (10, 10) is detached from the tube (3). Each operative unit (10, 10) has a half-shell (36) and one of a sealing element (37a) or a counter-sealing element (37b) and each operative unit (10, 10) is carried by one respective conveying cart (9) and extends laterally away therefrom so that the conveyor zone (8) is laterally spaced apart from an operative zone (33) where the tube is manipulated.
