Welder Hose and Wiring Cable Assembly and Method with Integral Connectors and Handle for Quick Replacement
A plastic welder comprising a control unit comprising a bulkhead assembly, a torch assembly comprising a torch hybrid connector, and a hybrid cable hose assembly comprising a hybrid cable hose including a threaded portion, a first overmolded portion, a second overmolded portion, wherein the torch assembly is removably attachable to the bulkhead assembly of the control unit by the hybrid cable hose assembly.
BATTERY POWERED CARPET SEAMER
A carpet seamer including an iron, a handle, and a neck. The iron includes a base plate and a heater configured to transmit heat to the base plate. The handle has a first end and a second end opposite the first end. The second end faces a direction of travel of the carpet seamer when the carpet seamer is in operation. The neck connects the iron with a lower portion of the handle. The carpet seamer also includes a battery receiving portion positioned at the second end of the handle. The battery receiving portion is configured to receive a releasably attachable battery pack. The carpet seamer further includes a seamer electronic processor coupled to the heater. The seamer electronic processor is configured to control the heater to selectively receive power from the battery pack
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CHARGING BASE STATION FOR DC CARPET SEAMING IRON
A battery powered carpet seaming iron system includes a battery powered carpet seaming iron, a base station for receiving the battery powered carpet seaming iron, and a releasable battery pack attached to the carpet seaming iron. Power is supplied to the battery powered carpet seaming iron from either of the base station or the battery pack. The base station receives AC power from an external source and supplies power to operate the battery powered carpet seaming iron, and to charge the batteries of the battery pack. Charging power from the base station is received at the battery powered carpet seaming iron and is transmitted by the carpet seaming iron to the battery pack. The battery pack supplies power to the seaming iron for operation of the seaming iron when the seaming iron is removed from the base station.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR A CHARGER WITH REMOVABLE TRAY FOR A CARPET SEAMER
A charger base station that receives a battery powered carpet seaming iron and includes a removable tray with an upper surface formed to receive the carpet seaming iron. The tray receives a metal insert that is formed to fit between the carpet seaming iron and the tray. The underside of the tray includes a mating formation that mates with mating formations on an upper surface of a charger base station, thus securing the tray to the charger base station. The charger base station also has an interface for receiving and mating with the battery powered carpet seaming iron, which includes electrical connection elements for connecting to the battery powered carpet seaming iron. The charger base station has an AC supply interface that is coupled to an internal power supply circuit. The power supply circuit is also coupled to the interface for receiving and matting with the battery powered carpet seaming iron.
Device, method and movable joining apparatus for thermal joining respectively two adjacent material sheets over a connecting piece
A device, a method and a movable welding apparatus for thermal joining of respective two material sheets over a connecting piece arranged areally on a bottom side, wherein the material sheets are arranged with a respective side surface facing one another abutting against each other at least partially with a respective bottom side lying areally on a top side of the connecting piece are provided. In particular, the two material sheets and the connecting piece can be joined together in one pass.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING REINFORCED THERMOPLASTIC PIPES
A process for manufacturing pipes using thermoplastic pipe and tape (continuous fiber, fully wetted in a similar thermoplastic as the pipe) that embeds the fibers into pipe surface. In one embodiment, an ambient temperature (72 degrees F.) tape is tightly wrapped around the cold pipe in a dry environment (relative humidity below 30). An external heat source is used to heat up the entire length of the pipe causing the thermoplastic to melt and the pipe to expand due to thermal expansion. Since the fibers have less stretch than the thermal expansion of the pipe the fibers will be embedded into the molten layer of the pipe, creating a permanent bond between the fibers and the pipe. A protective film is applied to the pipe. Portions of the tape and film are scraped from the surface of the pipe creating an area where the end of the pipe is coupled to another pipe using an electronic fusion coupler.
Method for manufacturing a reinforced composite pipe

Linear heat seal device
A liner heat sealing device used to fuse two or more sheets of plastic or vinyl together along a straight line using a heating element and a temperature control unit to control the temperature of the device, the device having three separate temperature zones along a linear axis, including a front preheating segment, a central fusing segment and a rear cooling section, each section provided on the common linear sealing device.
RAPID PATCH REPAIR OF SIDEWALL PANEL
A method of repairing a thermoplastic panel having a damaged portion therein that includes the steps of obtaining a patch member made of a thermoplastic material, positioning the patch member over the damaged portion, positioning the panel and patch member on a heat sink tool, using a hot forming tool to soften the panel and the patch member such that the material of the panel and the material of the patch member are welded together, and cooling the panel and patch member to integrally bond the patch member to the panel, thereby forming a panel and patch assembly.
