Method for monitoring the function of a tubular bag machine
A method for monitoring a tubular bag machine having a drive control system and independently controlled electronic drive units controlled by a drive control system for driving functional elements of the packing machine in a cycle time-synchronous manner in predefined motion sequences, one drive unit being a transverse sealing unit with a drive motor and two transverse sealing jaws for transversely sealing a film tube, and the drive motor torque measured using a drive controller, and the drive motor position measured using a position sensor, the method including moving the film tube into the sealing zone between the transverse sealing jaws, closing the jaws according to a predefined target torque stored in the drive control system, measuring the actual position of the drive motor upon reaching the target torque, and comparing the measured position to a target position stored in the drive control system associated with the predefined target torque.
WELDING MACHINE FOR SYNTHETIC RESINS
Disclosed is a welding machine for synthetic resins. The welding machine for synthetic resins performs welding of fabrics using ultrasonic waves and through preheating sufficient not to burn off a coating solution on the surfaces of the fabrics using hot air so as to achieve rapid and firm welding due to concentrated molecular decomposition and melting on the bonding surface between the fabrics, allows both an ultrasonic horn and a welding wheel to be rotated vertically so as to achieve rapid and stable entry of the fabrics and welding of the fabrics while preventing the fabrics from slipping, and achieves stable welding of various fabrics through adjustment of pressing force of the welding wheel depending on the thickness or the material of the fabrics, etc.
Spacer for use in precision bonding applications that provides enhanced shear strength
A spacer-locator with integrated locator pins and spacer tabs for use in joining applications. The spacer-locator provides consistent and accurate spacing between mating surfaces and the locator pins provide enhanced location control of the joining components while providing a mechanical advantage to the shear strength at the joint. Also, a spacer-locator for joining at least two objects along mating surfaces, the spacer-locator constraining at least two degrees of freedom for the objects to be joined.
Process for producing a surface covering with an embossed printed surface
A process for producing a surface covering with an embossed printed surface is described. A substrate (16) is continuously moved through a production line, and this substrate (16) is first provided, in a printing equipment (12), with a printed pattern and thereafter, in an embossing equipment (14), with an embossed pattern, which is registered with the printed pattern. The printing equipment (12) produces the printed pattern in-line with the production of the embossed pattern. During printing in the printing equipment (12), the printed pattern is stretched or compressed, dynamically responsive to indicators of misalignments between the printed pattern and the embossed pattern, so as to correct or prevent the misalignments. A production line for carrying out this process is also proposed.
Pipe Fusing Indicator Assembly
A pipe fusing indicator assembly includes a clamp that is releasably attachable to a cylinder of a pipe fusing machine. An arm is coupled to and extends away from the clamp. The arm is positionable in a first position having the arm resting against a section of pipe positioned in the pipe fusing machine such that the arm is visible to a user. The arm falls off of the section of pipe into a second position when the section of pipe is pulled through the fusing machine. In this way the arm indicate to the user that the section of pipe has been fully pulled through the pipe fusing machine. A ball is coupled to the arm such that the ball is visible to the user to facilitate the user to identify if the arm is in the first position or the second position.
Buffering gas cushion machine
Disclosed is a buffering air cushion machine, wherein the angle between a heat-sealing cooling transmission module as a core component of the buffering air cushion machine and a horizontal plane is between 20-50 degrees, thus greatly decreasing the transverse dimension of the buffering air cushion machine, so as to decrease the size of the whole machine and decrease the space occupied by the buffering air cushion machine; an inflation guide rod of a bent type may release some tension on a sealing side (an inflating passage) of a air cushion film, and may prevent wrinkles and bends from forming on the sealing side of the air cushion film during heat-sealing, so as to improve the quality of heat-sealing; furthermore, an upper coiling film guide rod and a lower coiling film guide rod may block the inflating passage connecting two air cushion films, and may prevent the air in the air cushion film which is filled with air but not sealed yet from travelling forward, so as to form a sealed high-pressure region and maintain the pressure in an inflation region, thus maintaining the pressure in the air cushion film after heat-sealing.
Method for testing the function of a tubular bag machine
A method for testing a tubular bag machine, the tubular bag machine having multiple electronic drive units controlled independently by a drive control system for driving functional elements of the packing machine in a cycle time-synchronous manner during predefined motion sequences, one drive unit being a transverse sealing unit comprising a motor and two transverse sealing jaws for transversely sealing a film tube, the drive torque being measured using a drive controller, and the position of the drive motor measured using a position sensor, by removing the film tube from the sealing zone between the transverse sealing jaws, closing the jaws according to a predefined target torque stored in the drive control system; measuring the actual position of the drive motor at the target torque; and comparing the measured actual position to a target position stored in the drive control system and associated with the predefined target torque.
