METHOD FOR MAKING A GAS-TIGHT CONTAINER IN ELASTOMERIC MATERIAL
A method for making a gas-tight container (1) in elastomeric material comprises: providing two or more separate elastomeric portions (2, 3), cleaning and/or roughening the gluing surfaces (6) of the gluing edges (5), applying an adhesive (7) onto the previously cleaned, degreased and/or roughened gluing surfaces (6), assembling the portions (2, 3) to form the container (1) and inserting between the gluing surfaces (6) a raw elastomeric tape (8) not yet cured, applying a cold pressure on the overlapped gluing edges (5), heating the overlapped gluing edges (5) to thermally activate the curing of the raw tape (8), cooling the gluing areas.
Methods to manufacture a textile product
The present invention pertains to a method to manufacture a textile product comprising a first sheet having a width and a length, and polymer yarns fastened to this sheet to form a pile thereon, the method comprising providing the sheet, stitching the polymer yarns through the sheet to form the pile on a first surface of the sheet and loops of the yarns at a second surface of the sheet, transporting the sheet in a direction parallel to its length along a heating element, the heating element being directed to the second surface of the sheet, heating the second surface with the heating element to at least partly melt the loops of the yarns to fasten the yarns to the sheet, wherein the method comprises transporting the sheet in contact with the heating element, wherein the heating element is a stationary rigid plate-like element having a width corresponding to the width of the sheet, and a length that extends parallel to the length of the sheet, the plate being curved in its length direction, wherein the outer circumference of the plate is contacted with the sheet. The invention also pertains to a method to use a textile product obtained with the new method and a device for applying the said method.

The invention also pertains to a method to use a textile product obtained with the new method and a device for applying the said method.
Packaging machine with sealing device
The invention relates to a packaging machine including a sealing device, said sealing device comprising at least a first and an individually controllable second sealing tool for producing a first and a second seal uniting a lower web with a top web.
Fiber-reinforced thermoplastic composite structural members, aircraft including the same, and related methods
Fiber-reinforced thermoplastic composite structural members (FRTCSM), aircraft including the same, and related methods are disclosed herein. The FRTCSMs include a first thermoplastic sub-structure that includes a first web, a first flange that extends away from the first web, and a first transition region between the first flange and the first web. The FRTCSMs also include a second thermoplastic sub-structure that includes a second web, a second flange that extends away from the second web, and a second transition region between the second flange and the second web. The first web is welded to the second web. The aircraft include at least one FRTCSM. The methods include positioning the first thermoplastic sub-structure and the second thermoplastic sub-structure such that the first web faces the second web, compressing the first web and the second web together, and welding the first web and the second web to one another.
