The present disclosure provides a curable resin composition including a thermoset resin, a toughener component containing a multistage polymer and a thermoplastic toughener and a hardener. The curable resin composition may be combined with reinforcing fibers and then cured to form a fiber-reinforced composite article having a high glass transition temperature and excellent mechanical properties. The fiber-reinforced composite article may be used in various applications, such as in transport applications including aerospace, aeronautical, nautical and land vehicles.

The present invention provides: a reaction injection molding liquid mixture comprising a norbornene-based monomer, a metathesis polymerization catalyst that includes tungsten as a center metal, an activator, and an ether compound represented by a formula (1), wherein R.sup.1 to R.sup.4 are independently an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, the reaction injection molding liquid mixture comprising the activator and the ether compound in a molar ratio (ether compound/activator) of 0.7/1 to 30/1; a method for producing a reaction injection molded product comprising a reaction injection molding step that includes subjecting the reaction injection molding liquid mixture according to any one of claims 1 to 4 to bulk polymerization inside a mold; a reaction injection molded product obtained using the method for producing a reaction injection molded product. Consequently, the present invention provides: a reaction injection molding liquid mixture that makes it possible to obtain a reaction injection molded product that has an excellent surface (surface state) and exhibits excellent strength while preventing a situation in which the resin remains on the surface of the mold when the resin is removed from the mold, a method for producing a reaction injection molded product using the same, and a reaction injection molded product obtained using the method. ##STR00001##

The material includes an open-cell soft polyurethane foam prepared from a 2-part reactive urethane resin composition prepared from a polyisocyanate component and a polyol-containing component, wherein the polyol-containing component comprises a polyol component, catalysts, a foam stabilizer, an amine compound having primary or secondary amino groups, and carbon dioxide; wherein an average sound absorption coefficient of said polyurethane foam is 30% or more, measured in accordance with JIS A 1405-2:2007 for 63 hertz to 5000 hertz; and the length of liquid-dripping is within 300 mm.

The one or more membranes permit first reactants from a first solution in the first portion or reactants from a second solution in the second portion to seep or percolate to a reaction zone proximate a surface of the one or more membranes. A reaction of the first and second reactants forms a two-dimensional polymer film material. A roller located inside of the reaction vessel draws the two-dimensional polymer film material reaction out of the reaction zone.

Process for Producing Modified Olefin Polymer in an Extruder
The present invention is directed to a process for producing a modified olefin polymer in an extruder having a feed zone, a melting zone, optionally a mixing zone and optionally a die zone, (A) introducing a stream of an olefin polymer into the feed zone of the extruder; (B) introducing a stream of a free radical generator directly into the feed zone or the melting zone or the mixing zone, if present, of the extruder; (C) introducing a stream of a functionally unsaturated compound directly into the feed zone or the melting zone or the mixing zone, if present, of the extruder; (D) extruding the mixture in the extruder at a temperature which is greater than the decomposition temperature of the free radical generator and the melting temperature of the olefin polymer but less than the decomposition temperature of the olefin polymer thereby producing the modified olefin polymer in the extruder; and, optionally, (G) passing the melt of the modified olefin polymer through the die zone to a pelletiser.
