METHOD FOR PRODUCING GRAMOPHONE RECORDS BY INJECTION MOULDING
A method for producing gramophone records by injection moulding, comprises the steps of heating polymeric material to liquefy said material, supplying liquid polymeric material under pressure from a feed zone to a space between two mould parts via a nozzle. The liquid polymeric material is passed through a single passage located in one of the mould parts and forced under pressure through the nozzle into said space. Polyethylene terephthalate isophthalic acid modified copolymer is used as said polymeric material.
Record making system
The invention provides an improved record making system, the system having a puck former having an outlet, the puck former being movable between an automatic position and a semi-automatic position and adapted to periodically produce a puck and to deliver the puck to the outlet. The system further has a record former having a puck receiver, the record former adapted, upon delivery of the puck to the puck receiver, to automatically produce a record. The record former is positioned relative to the puck former and adapted such that, when the puck former is in the automatic position, the outlet of the puck former is coterminous with the puck receiver of the record former. When the puck former is in the semi-automatic position, the puck receiver is accessible by an operator to permit manual puck feeding.
Record Making System

RECORD PRODUCTION DEVICES, SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Methods, system and devices for the production of audio records are provided. A record format is selected, and this selection is used to modify a set of digital audio files. A music production interface may be provided to receive the selection. A set of manufacturing instructions are generated, which are derived from the modified set of digital audio files. The set of manufacturing instructions are used to convert a record blank into a playable audio record.

A gramophone plate (P) having at least one face, the at least one face including at least one region on which is recorded audio data (2), wherein the said at least one region of the at least one face also has at least one visual image (7), or a portion of at least one visual image, recorded thereon.
Record Making System
The improved record press is of the type wherein a relatively hot fluid is circulated through the platens to render the puck molten for molding and wherein a relatively cold fluid is circulated through the platens to cool the molten material for ejection. The improvement comprises the use of pressurized water as the relatively hot fluid.

A record (100) may include a disk (102), an embedded electronic authentication tag (104), a cover (106) between the disk and the electronic authentication tag, and one or more record labels (108A, 108B). The disk, electronic authentication tag, and cover have a spindle hole (114) and a common centerline (116). The electronic authentication tag contains a unique identification code pointing to information regarding the record stored as a non-fungible token. This information may be used to verify the authenticity and ownership of the record. A puck used to create the disk may include segments of different colors so that, when the record is pressed the different segments produce a visual pattern unique to that record. A picture may be taken after pressing, recorded, recorded as part of the information in the non-fungible token, and later used to verify the authenticity of the record.

A die assembly and a method of forming a vinyl record are provided. The assembly includes a base circular-shaped plate having an outer ring-shaped gasket groove, an inner O-ring groove, and a plurality of concentric grooves extending from a primary surface into the base circular-shaped plate. The assembly includes an O-ring that is disposed in the inner O-ring groove, and an outer ring-shaped gasket disposed in the outer ring-shaped gasket groove. The assembly includes a contacting circular-shaped plate having an engagement surface and a plurality of concentric channels such that a plurality of concentric finger portions are formed on the contacting circular-shaped plate. The plurality of concentric finger portions are partially disposed in the plurality of concentric grooves and contact the base circular-shaped plate.
