METHOD OF MOLDING SPOKES OF A NON-PNEUMATIC TIRE USING AN ARRAY OF MOLDS
A method of curing spokes (10) is provided in which first molds of a first (14) and second series (16) of molds are placed into a platen, and force and heat applied. The platen (12) is opened and the first mold (1(1)) of the first series (14) is moved relative to the platen while the position of the first mold (1(2)) of the second series (16) is kept the same relative to the platen. Force and heat are applied to the molds. The platen (12) is opened, and the first mold (1(1)) of the first series is removed while the second mold (2(1)) of the first series is kept within the platen. A cured spoke is removed from the first mold of the first series.
Tire vulcanizer and tire manufacturing method
A tire vulcanizer is disclosed that has superior durability and in which mold parting surfaces defined by a sector and side plates are less likely to be worn even after repeated use. The tire vulcanizer includes: the sector that shapes a tread of a tire; paired upper and lower side plates that shape sidewalls of the tire; a segment that is fixed to the sector and causes the sector to move in a tire radial direction; paired upper and lower attachment plates that are respectively fixed to the paired upper and lower side plates; and the mold parting surfaces defined by the sector and the side plates. Mold inner ends of the mold parting surfaces are arranged on the tread, and the mold parting surfaces extend outward in the tire radial direction from the mold inner ends.
TIRE VULCANIZER AND TIRE MANUFACTURING METHOD
A tire vulcanizer is disclosed that has superior durability and in which mold parting surfaces defined by a sector and side plates are less likely to be worn even after repeated use. The tire vulcanizer includes: the sector that shapes a tread of a tire; paired upper and lower side plates that shape sidewalls of the tire; a segment that is fixed to the sector and causes the sector to move in a tire radial direction; paired upper and lower attachment plates that are respectively fixed to the paired upper and lower side plates; and the mold parting surfaces defined by the sector and the side plates. Mold inner ends of the mold parting surfaces are arranged on the tread, and the mold parting surfaces extend outward in the tire radial direction from the mold inner ends.

Force and heat are applied to the molds. The platen press is opened, and the first mold of the first series is removed while the second mold of the first series is kept within the platen press. A cured spoke is removed from the first mold of the first series.
QUICK MOLD CLAMPING DEVICE
The present invention discloses a quick mold clamping device, including a base and a cross beam, wherein a first hot plate, a lower mold, an upper mold and a second hot plate are arranged successively between the base and the cross beam; the lower mold is connected with the first hot plate, and the upper mold is connected with the second hot plate, both by connecting pieces; the connecting pieces include substrates and U-shaped plates connected with the substrates; the first and second hot plates are both provided with grooves, and the substrates are clamped in the grooves. According to the quick mold clamping device of the present invention, the first and second hot plates are connected with the upper and lower molds through the grooves and the connecting pieces to drive the mold to realize tire vulcanization. The operation is simple, and the working efficiency is high.
