SPLICE-MATCH BUILDER
Disclosed herein, a tire tread cutting apparatus for cutting a length of a tire tread is described. The tire tread cutting apparatus includes a track having a first track end and a second track end downstream of the first track end. The track includes a plurality of rollers positioned between the first track end and the second track end. The plurality of rollers is configured to facilitate the tire tread along the track. A tire hub is positioned downstream of and adjacent to the second track end. The tire hub is configured to receive a tire casing. The tire casing defines a tire casing circumference along an outer surface of the tire casing. A tread dispenser is positioned upstream of the track and configured to dispense tire tread. The tread dispenser includes a drive roller configured to drive tire tread downstream toward the second track end.
THE USE OF A MOISTURE RESERVOIR FOR RETREADING
A method of retreading a tire. The method includes the steps of applying a primer to an inner surface of a circumferential tread and applying the primer to an outer surface of a tire casing; applying an adhesive to the primer disposed on the inner surface and the primer disposed on the outer surface; applying the circumferential tread to the tire casing so the inner surface contacts the outer surface and a bondline edge forms circumferentially about the tire casing proximate to a shoulder area of the tire casing; and coupling a moisture reservoir to the circumferential tread proximate to the bondline edge.

METHOD FOR ADHERING CURED RUBBER COMPONENTS
A method for preparing a retreaded tire, the method comprising (a) providing a tire casing; (b) providing a pre-cured tire tread; (c) applying a primer composition to the tire casing, the pre-cured tread, or both the tire casing and the pre-cured tread therefore form at least one primer layer, where the primer composition includes a halogenating agent and a solvent; (d) applying a urethane-based adhesive composition to at least one of the tire casing, an adhesive layer, the pre-cured tread, or the at least one primer layer; (e) mating the pre-cured tread to the tire casing to thereby sandwich the adhesive layer between the pre-cured tread and the tire casing and form a pre-cured composite: and (f) allowing the adhesive layer of the pre-cured composite to cure and thereby form a retreaded tire.

Tire Cold Retreading Method
A method for the cold retreading of a tyre (1) comprising the following steps: a removal step, during which the old, worn tread is removed from the tyre in order to expose an equatorial surface (2) of a casing (3) of the tyre (1); a deposition step, during which a cushion (4) and a pre-cured tread strip (6) provided with a tread pattern are deposited around the equatorial surface (2) of the casing (3); and a curing step, during which the cushion (4) arranged between the casing (3) and the pre-cured tread strip (6) is cured. The cushion (4) is manufactured with a compound comprising 1 to 30 phr of at least one conductive material chosen among graphite, graphene and a carbon black having a surface area which is greater than or equal to 300 m.sup.2/gr. The curing step comprises a connection step, during which said cushion (4) is connected to a heat or power source (S).
