PROCESS FOR BUILDING TYRES AND TYRE OBTAINED THEREBY
A pair of annular inserts of elastomeric material is circumferentially applied by spiraling around a laying surface of an auxiliary drum. Then a plurality of strip-like elements disposed in parallel side by side relationship with each other in the circumferential extension of the laying surface is applied onto the auxiliary drum, so as to form at least one first belt layer. Respectively opposite end portions of each strip-like element are radially superposed, each against one of the annular inserts, so that each of the annular inserts projects from a respective end edge of the strip-like element. The cap structure formed on the auxiliary drum is coupled to a carcass structure through toroidal conformation of the latter, in such a manner that the radially external ends of sidewall portions previously manufactured on the carcass plies are associated with the axially external ends of the annular inserts.

PNEUMATIC TIRE WITH FUSED CORD
The present invention is directed to a pneumatic tire comprising at least one pair of parallel annular beads, at least one carcass ply wrapped around said beads, at least two belts or breakers disposed over said carcass ply in a crown area of said tire, tread disposed over said belts or breakers, and sidewalls disposed between said tread and said beads, and wherein the radially top belt or breaker is reinforced with an organic polymer cord, wherein the organic polymer cord is chemically fused.
PROCESS AND PLANT FOR PRODUCING TYRES FOR VEHICLE WHEELS
A process and a plant for producing tyres for vehicle wheels are described. Building of a crown structure of the tyre includes building a crossed belt structure on a substantially cylindrical first forming drum, transferring the crossed belt structure from the first forming drum to an annular holding member, positioning a second forming drum in a radially inner position with respect to the annular holding member, transferring the crossed belt structure from the annular holding member to the second forming drum by radially expanding the second forming drum until it is brought into contact with the crossed belt structure so as to toroidally shape the crossed belt structure, and depositing at least one zero degrees belt layer on the second forming drum in a radially outer position with respect to the toroidally-shaped crossed belt structure.

METHOD FOR BUILDING BELT ASSEMBLIES FOR TYRES FOR VEHICLE WHEELS
A method for building belt assemblies for tyres for vehicle wheels is described. The method includes building a crossed belt structure on a forming drum. Depending on the type of tyre to be produced, the method selects whether to build a belt assembly having a cylindrical shaping or a belt assembly having a toroidal shaping. In order to build a belt assembly having a cylindrical shaping, zero degrees belt layer is deposited on the forming drum in a radially outer position with respect to the crossed belt structure. In order to build a belt assembly having a toroidal shaping, the crossed belt structure is picked up from the forming drum. The crossed belt structure is then toroidally shaped and transferred onto another forming drum. A zero degrees belt layer is then deposited on the other forming drum in a radially outer position with respect to the toroidally shaped crossed belt structure.

PNEUMATIC TIRE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING PNEUMATIC TIRE
A belt cover layer is disposed in a tire, spanning between shoulder regions, and is formed by winding one belt cover material in a helical shape around a rotation axis on an outer side of the belt layer in a radial direction, the belt cover layer includes a lap winding portion between the shoulder regions, in which parts of circumferential portions, adjacent in a width direction, of the belt cover material wound in a helical shape are lap-wound in the radial direction, a width of the lap winding portion in the width direction is 3-30% of a width of the belt cover layer in the width direction, and in portions of the belt cover layer in the shoulder regions, the circumferential portions, adjacent in the width direction, of the belt cover material are wound with out being lapped in the radial direction.

Crown reinforcement for a tire of a tractor-type agricultural vehicle
A tire (1) for an agricultural vehicle comprises a working reinforcement (2), radially on the inside of a tread (3) and radially on the outside of a carcass reinforcement (4), the working reinforcement (2) comprising a multilayer component made up of a radial stack of at least two working layers (21, 22), and aims to improve the endurance thereof. The working reinforcement (2) is made up of a circumferential spiral winding of at least one turn of the multilayer component, the first and second circumferential ends (211, 221; 212, 222) of each working layer (21, 22) are circumferentially offset from one another, and the respective first circumferential ends (211, 221) of two consecutive working layers (21, 22) are likewise circumferentially offset from one another.
