ARTICLES, DIES AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME
Articles (100, 200, 300) comprising first (101, 201, 301) and second layers (102, 202, 302) each having first and second opposed major surfaces and between the first and second layers a series of first walls (110, 210, 310) having aspect ratios between 1.5 and 5 providing a series of microchannels, and methods for making the same. Embodiment of coextruded articles described herein are useful, for example, in cushioning applications where high levels of compression are desired.
INFLATABLE PRODUCT AND INFLATABLE PRODUCT FUSING PROCESS
Provided are an inflatable product and an inflatable product fusing process. The inflatable product comprises an upper sheet, a lower sheet, pull straps provided therebetween, and upper and lower fixing sheets having one faces away from each other respectively joined with inner surfaces of the upper and lower sheets and one faces facing towards each other not joined. The pull strap has oppositely-provided upper and lower pull strap sheets of porous material. The upper sheet, upper pull strap sheet, upper fixing sheet, lower fixing sheet, lower pull strap sheet and lower sheet are successively provided. When processing using a hot-fusing machine or high-frequency machine, the upper and lower pull strap sheets are simultaneously jointed with the upper and lower fixing sheets, therefore the inflatable product can be one-step formed and no separating sheet needs to be provided in the pull strap, thus simplifying manufacturing process and improving production efficiency.

Method of making a resin panel
A resin panel includes a first structure and a second structure stacked on each other. The structures includes reference surfaces that serve as the front surface and the back surface of the resin panel respectively. Each of the structures includes a plurality of protrusions protruding inwardly from the reference surface. The protrusions of the structure face the protrusions of the other structure each other. Jutting portions of linear shape are formed between adjacent protrusions of each of the structures. The structures are joined such that apical portions of the protrusions of each structure abut one another.
Baffle tank for filtering a fluid and a method of forming the baffle tank
A baffle tank is disclosed which is designed to filter a fluid along with a method of forming the baffle tank. The baffle tank has a bottom wall joined to at least one sidewall to form an enclosure having a first chamber in fluid communication with a second chamber. The first chamber has a top wall with an enlarged opening formed therein. The first chamber also has an inlet for receiving incoming fluid. The second chamber has a top wall with an enlarged opening formed therein. The second chamber also has an outlet through which fluid can be discharged. A first baffle is formed by at least a portion of the sidewall of the first chamber. The first baffle is joined to at least a portion of the sidewall of the second chamber. The first baffle extends downward from the top walls of the first and second chambers and has a lower end positioned above the bottom wall. A second baffle is formed in the second chamber and extends upward from the bottom wall and has an upper end positioned below the top wall of the second chamber. The lower end of the first baffle is located closer to the bottom wall than is the upper end of the second baffle.
System and method for bending a hollow core sheet using rods
A system and method for bending a hollow core sheet using rods has at least one bendable rod that is inserted inside a channel of a hollow core sheet so as to strengthen it and increase its malleability, which offers the possibility of pliancy to the hollow core sheet so that it can hold a shape. The reinforcing bendable rod is held in place via an applied angled force inside the walls of the channels. The hollow core sheet is then bent into a desired shape to create useful objects.
BLOW MOLDED ARTICLE OF MANUFACTURE AND METHODS OF FORMING THE SAME
A blow molded article of manufacture includes first and second battery enclosures each having respective first and second laterally outward extending flanges, and a parison made of a polymeric material. The first and second battery enclosure components are disposed facing each other and with their respective first and second laterally outward extending flanges registered with each other and spaced apart from each other by an offset. The parison is sandwiched between and connects together the first and second battery enclosure components, such that the parison conforms with interior surfaces of the battery enclosure components and with the parison substantially filling the offset. The article of manufacture may be cut along a cut line through the parison and within the offset around an outer perimeter of the article of manufacture, thereby separating the article of manufacture into first and second battery enclosure assemblies. Methods of formation are also disclosed.
