PIPE FOR CONVEYING FLUIDS IN HVACR SYSTEMS
The present invention relates to a composite coating for an inner tube delimiting a passageway for a fluid for obtaining a pipe for conveying fluids in HVACR systems.
Method for connecting two unitary elements of a conduit for transporting fluids by means of a sleeve
A method of connecting together two unit elements (4, 4′) of a fluid transport pipe, each unit pipe element being covered in an outer insulating coating (6, 6′) made of a thermoplastic material, with the exception of an end portion that does not have an outer insulating coating. The method includes: a step of welding together two abutting unit pipe elements; a step of positioning an annular sleeve (14) around a cut-back and in part around the outer insulating coatings of the two unit pipe elements, the sleeve being made of a thermoplastic material; a step of fastening the sleeve in sealed manner by weld bonding on the outer insulating coatings; and a step of applying an external pressure on the sleeve to enable it to be deformed elastically and match the shape of the respective end portions of the two unit pipe elements.
MULTILAYER HOSE AND ASSOCIATED METHOD
In certain embodiments, a hose includes an inner tube, a filler material, and an outer cover. The inner tube has a cross-sectional shape and includes a cavity for transporting a substance. The filler material is provided around an outer periphery of the inner tube. The filler material includes a self-sealing material or a self-healing material. The outer cover is provided around an outer periphery of the filler material such that the filler material is between the outer cover and the inner tube. The outer cover has a D-shaped cross-sectional shape.
System and method for manufacturing fittings and connections for biaxially-oriented plastic pipes
The present invention discloses a system and a method for manufacturing fittings and connections for biaxially-oriented plastic tubes in an integral way from straight preformed tubes, with the possibility of adjusting and distributing the thicknesses as well as adjusting the specific stretching in the different areas of the fittings, allowing them to be reinforced or optimized during the method itself and without causing an increase in the production time or an increase in the raw material used, such that it allows for the manufacture of fittings of different geometric shapes (curves, tapers, couplers, branches, etc.)
Process and apparatus for producing shaped profile sections
A method for producing a shaped profile section in a continuous line process provides providing an outer facing web, an inner facing web and laying down an liquid foam reactants in the outer facing web. The method pre-forms the outer facing web into a desired outer profile shape prior to laying down the liquid foam reactants. The inner facing web is shaped with the liquid foam reactants within the pre-formed outer facing web to provide a desired inner profile shape for the shaped profile section. Also provided is an apparatus for producing a shaped profile section and a shaped profile section of the method.
Thermally insulated medium pipes having HFO-containing cell gas
The invention relates to a thermally insulated conduit pipe, comprising at least one medium pipe, at least one thermal insulation arranged around the medium pipe, and at least one outer jacket arranged around the thermal insulation, wherein the outer jacket possibly comprises a barrier made of plastic, and wherein the thermal insulation comprises a foam, the cell gas of which contains at least 10 vol % HFOs. Such conduit pipe has good insulating behavior, good environmental balance, and is easily producible.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A HOLLOW ELECTRICAL INSULATOR, HOLLOW ELECTRICAL INSULATOR AND USE OF A HOLLOW ELECTRICAL INSULATOR
The invention relates to a method for producing a hollow electrical insulator having the following steps:—providing a core,—winding first wound layers (2) of a first fiber element onto the core,—winding second wound layers (7) of a second fiber element (8) onto an end region (10) of the core, wherein—the first wound layers (2) comprise turns of the first fiber element which include a first winding angle with a main direction of extension (R) of the core,—the second wound layers (7) comprise turns (18) of the second fiber element (8) which include a second winding angle (α2) with the main direction of extension (R) of the core, which second winding angle is larger than the first winding angle, and—an inner region (11) of the core remains free of second wound layers (7). The invention also relates to a hollow electrical insulator and the use thereof.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR APPLYING MOLDABLE MATERIAL TO A PIPE BY INJECTING MOLDABLE MATERIAL FROM A MOVABLE SUPPORT
A molding system for applying moldable material to a pipe. An elongate mold has at least one elongate mold member movable relative another elongate mold member between open and closed positions. The mold includes a pipe support that extends generally radially into a mold cavity along a support axis. An inner end of the support is configured to support the pipe in a molding position in which an annular portion of the mold cavity extends circumferentially around the pipe. After moldable material in the annular portion of the mold cavity can support the pipe, the support is withdrawn from the mold cavity by moving outwardly along the support axis. An injector selectively dispenses additional moldable material into a space formed by the support in the existing moldable material.
