Base station antenna, sealing member, and method and device for manufacturing the sealing member
The present invention relates to a sealing member for a base station antenna and a base station antenna comprising the same as well as a method and device for manufacturing the sealing member. The sealing member (2) is flexible and resilient and is configured to form a seal between an open end (5) of a radome (3) and an end cap (1) of the base station antenna. The sealing member is an elongated sealing strip having two ends, wherein the two ends of the sealing member are lappable with each other, and the sealing member has a groove extending over its entire length, which groove is defined by two side limbs and a bottom limb connecting the two side limbs of the sealing member, wherein the groove is configured to engage with an edge of the open end (5) of the radome, and wherein the sealing member is configured to be received in an annular recess of the end cap (1) and isolate an interior of the radome (3) from the environment. The sealing member can be manufactured cheaply and can be flexibly applied to base station antennas with different sizes.
High Performance Polymer Composition Containing Carbon Nanostructures
A polymer composition comprising carbon nanostructures dispersed within a polymer matrix that includes a thermoplastic polymer having a deflection temperature under load of about 40° C. or more as determined in accordance with ISO 75:2013 at a load of 1.8 MPa and a melting temperature of about 140° C. or more is provided. The carbon nanostructures include carbon nanotubes that are arranged in a network having a web-like morphology and optionally disposed on a substrate.
HEATABLE PLASTICS COMPONENT AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING
A method for manufacturing a heatable plastic component for a motor vehicle, which includes: providing a planar heating film, which has a first surface and a second surface that faces away from and is opposite the first surface, including at least one heating wire and connecting elements; introducing the planar heating film into an injection mold; mounting a connector housing onto the connecting elements; and back-molding the first surface with a plastic for manufacturing a first partial element of the heatable plastic component in the injection mold. In order to provide an improved method for manufacturing a heatable plastic component, it is proposed that a back-molding of the second surface with a plastic for manufacturing a second partial element of the heatable plastic component in the injection mold takes place such that a composite is formed from the first partial element, the planar heating film and the second partial element.
IMPLANTABLE MEDICAL DEVICE WITH MULTI-SIDED HEADER ELECTRODE
An implantable medical device includes a header configured to be mounted to an end of a device housing that contains an electronics module therein. The header includes an antenna, a sensing electrode, and a header body that at least partially surrounds the antenna and the sensing electrode. The sensing electrode includes a first body portion, a second body portion, and a bridge portion that mechanically and electrically connects the first and second body portions. The first body portion is at least partially exposed to an external environment along a first side of the header, and the second body portion is at least partially exposed to the external environment along a second side of the header that is different from the first side.
COVER ELEMENT FOR SENSORS AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE COVER ELEMENT
The invention relates to a cover element having a housing of a film that is formed and moulded between a front plate and a carrier plate and is used to represent multidimensional structures, the carrier plate being connected on the rear side to a heating plate, characterized in that the housing consists of an annular housing base and an annular housing front, and a circuit-board ring having LEDs and plugs is installed in the housing base.
TEXTILE PART PROVIDED WITH AN ELECTRONIC TAG COMPRISING A WIRED ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SUCH A PART
The invention relates to a method for making a textile part (A; A1, A2), comprising a step of forming a stitched seam (c1, c2, c3; C). The stitched seam step also aims to secure an electronic tag (1) to the textile part (A; A1, A2). The electronic tag (1) is formed from a strip comprising a wired electronic device comprising a chip (3a) associated with at least one antenna wire (3b), the chip (3a) and the antenna wire (3b) being arranged inside the stitched seam (c1, c2, c3; C). The invention also relates to the textile part provided with the tag.
Sheet exhibiting dielectric or magneto-dielectric properties
Sheet comprising a flexible support and a coating at least partially covering at least one face of the support, the support being made of a support material exhibiting dielectric properties, the coating being made of a coating material different from the support material and exhibiting magneto-dielectric properties or dielectric properties.
Systems and methods for manufacturing header subassembly
The present disclosure provides systems and methods for assembling a subassembly for use in manufacturing an implantable device header. A method includes placing a first split web into a top platen, placing a second split web into a bottom platen, placing a conductor assembly and an antenna assembly in the bottom platen on top of the second split web, compressing the top and bottom platens together, heating the top and bottom platens until a predetermined temperature and a predetermined pressure are reached, such that first split web is fused to the second split web to form the subassembly, separating the top and bottom platens, and removing the formed subassembly.
