INJECTION MOLD AND METHOD OF FORMING AN EYEBALL FOR A LURE HAVING A PUPIL SURROUNDED BY AN IRIS
An injection mold is configured to form an eyeball for a fishing lure. The injection mold includes a first mold plate, a first stem plate, a second stem plate, and a second mold plate. The first mold plate defines a first injection port. The first and second stem plates and the second stem plate each define a plurality of stem cavities. The second mold plate includes first and second sides and a second injection port extending between the first side and the second side. The second side defines an iris cavity in fluid communication with the second injection port. The injection mold is configured to be assembled in a first configuration, to receive a first flowable material to form a pupil stem of an eyeball, and a second configuration, to receive a second flowable material to form an iris of the eyeball.
Fishing rod
A fishing rod includes a rod section and a fitting having a securing portion, the fitting being firmly secured to the rod section without inhibiting bending of the rod section, the securing portion having an excellent outer appearance. On a securing portion of a fishing line guide placed on the rod section, a prepreg sheet formed of plain-woven reinforcement fibers impregnated with a thermosetting resin is wound to secure the fishing line guide. The prepreg sheet is wound and secured so that, with respect to an axial direction, reinforcement fibers are in oblique directions, and intersecting angles of the reinforcement fibers in a winding region on a part of the rod section located beyond a distal end of the securing portion are smaller than those of the reinforcement fibers in a winding region on the securing portion.
REEL BODY FOR A SPINNING REEL
A reel body for a spinning reel includes a foot portion configured to attach to a fishing rod, a housing having a accommodating portion, a leg portion extending from the housing toward the foot portion, and an insert element disposed in the housing and the leg portion. The foot portion, the housing, and the leg portion are integrally formed by injection molding, and the insert element includes a first portion that is disposed in the accommodating portion such that at least a part thereof is exposed, and a second portion that is integrally formed with the first portion and at least a part of which is disposed in a proximal end part of the leg portion.
Universal Arbor for Fishing Rod Blanks
Universal arbors mountable on tapered fishing rod blanks as non-degradable self-centering collars to which a reel seat may be mounted. The inventive cylinder-shaped arbor comprises a flexible thermoplastic resin formed as an outer cylinder, closed at one end with an integral end wall or separate disc/washer, which included a cylindrical hole to receive a rod blank. The annulus between the cylinder inner wall and the hole margin includes curved or straight centering fins secured to the cylinder inner wall that are free to flex. Flexing of the centering fins permits accommodating a wide range of blank tapers at the proper place of location of a reel seat making the arbor universal and positionally forgiving. Once the arbor is located on the blank and oriented properly, the cylinder is filled with a fluid epoxy resin, which when cured permanently secures the arbor to the blank and to the reel seat tube.
A FISHING BAIT, A MOULDABLE COMPOSITION FOR MANUFACTURING THE FISHING BAIT, A METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE FISHING BAIT AND A USE OF THE MOULDABLE COMPOSITION
The present invention relates to a fishing bait, a mouldable composition for manufacturing the fishing bait, a method for manufacturing the fishing bait and a use of the mouldable composition. The mouldable composition comprises a basic solution comprising water, a gelling agent and a plasticizer. The mouldable composition further comprises at least one cross-linking agent in the volume of the basic solution.
Systems and Methods for Forming a Fishing Rod
A method embodiment for forming the fishing rod can include forming a tube comprising a carbon sheet. The tube can be formed by rolling the carbon sheet around a rod template. The formed tube can comprise a proximal region and a distal region. The method can further comprise coupling an assembly. The assembly can comprise the tube and a reel seat. During coupling of the assembly, the reel seat can encompass a distal region of the tube. The assembly can be molded for structural integrity by applying heat to the assembly and allowing the assembly to cure.
Method of manufacturing a fishing lure
The mold apparatus disclosed herein is configured for simultaneous communication of a resin having a color and a complementary resin having a complementary color into a mold cavity without intermixing between the resin and the complementary resin in order to form an object wherein the color is essentially separated from the complementary color, in various aspects. In various aspects, the object formed by the mold apparatus may be configured as a fishing lure body, which is a molded portion of a fishing lure. The fishing lure body has a top and a bottom, and the top is of the color and the bottom is of the complementary color, in various aspects. Related methods and manufactures are disclosed.
Weighted lures and methods for making weighted lures
A weighted lure can include a body formed from plastisol and a weighted portion formed from a high density plastisol. The high density plastisol can include plastisol and a weighting substance dispersed within the plastisol. The weighted portion can be encased by the body. The weighted lure also can include an air pocket or air chamber formed in the body.
Fishing lure device and methods thereof
A fishing lure of the present invention includes a body component and a hook component, wherein one end of the hook component is integral with the body component and extends therefrom. In addition, the fishing lure includes an inventive through-line element wherein a fishing line can be threaded through the through-line element and attached directly to the hook component. In preferred embodiments, the inventive fishing lure can eliminate the need for an eyelet when securing a fishing line to the fishing lure.
Fishing jig
A fishing jig is disclosed. The fishing jig includes a semitransparent skirt having a generally tubular body that extends between a closed head end and a tail end that includes an opening. A channel is formed within the tubular body and extends from the opening toward the head end. The fishing jig also includes a jig head positioned within the channel of the skirt and at least partially visible through the skirt. The jig head may include a body having a first side and a second side, an eye positioned on each of the first side and the second side, the eyes being visible through the skirt, and a hook that extends from the body and through the opening in the skirt. The fishing jig may mimic the look and motion of bait fish.
