This disclosure provides an encapsulated cleansing composition that is free of talc and that includes a core particle including (1) tapioca starch, (2) potato starch, (3) at least one anionic surfactant, and (4) at least one amphoteric surfactant. The encapsulated cleaning composition also includes a coating disposed about at least a portion of the core particle and includes a polysaccharide.
Solid hair cosmetic composition
The present disclosure relates to a solid hair cosmetic composition comprising—based on the total weight of the cosmetic composition—0.1 to 40.0% by weight of at least one polysaccharide, at least one polysaccharide being starch from corn, rice, potato or tapioca; modified starch; hydroxypropyl starch phosphate or a dextrin, and optionally: 10.0 to 60.0% by weight of at least one polyhydric alcohol, 0.1 to 15.0% by weight of at least one cationic surfactant, and 0.1 to 15.0% by weight of at least one saturated or unsaturated, branched or unbranched C.sub.8-C.sub.30 alcohol and/or a saturated or unsaturated, branched or unbranched C.sub.8-C.sub.30 carboxylic acid and/or a salt of a saturated or unsaturated, branched or unbranched C.sub.8-C.sub.30 carboxylic acid, as well as production and application methods and uses thereof.
Conditioning Composition
A conditioning composition is free of talc and includes tapioca starch, optionally potato starch, optionally corn starch, at least one anionic surfactant, and optionally at least one amphoteric surfactant, which may be described as a core particle. The conditioning composition may include, or be free of, a coating disposed about at least a portion of the core particle and having a compound chosen from cellulose polymers, anionic or cationic polymers, vinyl polymers, natural polymers, polysaccharides, copolymers thereof, and combinations thereof. The conditioning composition includes from about 0 to about 25 percent by weight of liquid, has a pH of from about 3.5 to about 5 when mixed with water at about 10 wt % and produces a flash foam of less than about 10 ml when contacted with water at a temperature of about 26 to about 30° C. degrees.
CORE-SHEATH COMPOSITE FIBER FOR ARTIFICIAL HAIR, HEADWEAR PRODUCT INCLUDING SAME, AND PRODUCTION METHOD FOR SAME
A core-sheath conjugate fiber for artificial hair including a core part and a sheath part is provide. The core part includes a polyester-based resin composition that contains a polyester-based resin and the sheath part is comprised of a polyamide-based resin composition that contains a polyamide-based resin. The core-sheath conjugate fiber for artificial hair has a single fiber fineness of 20 dtex or more and 80 dtex or less and a coefficient of variation of the single fiber diameter of 10% or more and 40% or less. With this configuration, a core-sheath conjugate fiber for artificial hair that has a touch close to that of human hair and a good gloss, a hair ornament product including the same, and a method for producing the same are provided.
CORE-SHEATH COMPOSITE FIBER FOR ARTIFICIAL HAIR, HEADWEAR PRODUCT INCLUDING SAME, AND PRODUCTION METHOD FOR SAME
A core-sheath conjugate fiber for artificial hair including a core part and a sheath part is provided. The core part contains a polyester-based resin composition containing a polyester-based resin, and the sheath part contains a polyamide-based resin composition containing a polyamide-based resin. The core-sheath conjugate fiber for artificial hair has a core-to-sheath area ratio of core:sheath=2:8 to 8:2 and includes a hollow part, and the area of the hollow part constitutes 7% or more and 40% or less of the area of a fiber cross section. A core-sheath conjugate fiber for artificial hair that has a touch close to that of human hair and good voluminousness and curl setting property, and a hair ornament product including the same, and a method for producing the same are provided.
Cosmetic applicator with a firm base and an attached cushioning member
A cosmetic applicator includes a non-porous base and a first porous cushioning member molded onto the base that is configured to retain a predetermined amount of cosmetic formulation. A method of forming a cosmetic applicator includes forming a non-porous base and forming a first porous cushioning member on the base.
Applicator for cosmetic product, in particular mascara, associated applicator unit and method for manufacturing such an applicator
An applicator for cosmetic product includes a core extending along a longitudinal extension direction, also called a main direction, and one or more protrusions integral with the core. The protrusions extend from a proximal end connected to the core to a distal free end along a elongation direction, so as to define a length. At least some of the protrusions have at least one helicoidal winding on at least a portion of the length thereof, called helicoidal winding portion.
System and method for manufacturing a cosmetic stick
A method for manufacturing a cosmetic stick having at least two different colored portions includes inserting a pin into at least one mold cavity of a mold body, filling the mold cavity containing the pin with a first cosmetic material of a first color, and then recovering the excess first cosmetic material from a top surface of the mold body. The pin is removed from the mold cavity leaving a void in the mold cavity, and a guard plate is placed over the top surface of the mold body, the guard plate having a hole over the mold cavity. The void in the mold cavity is filled with a second cosmetic material, the second cosmetic material being a second color that is different than the first color. The excess second cosmetic material is then recovered from a top surface of the guard plate.
ARTIFICIAL NAIL MEASUREMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD
Implementations of an artificial nail measurement system and method (“artificial nail measurement”) are provided. In some implementations, the artificial nail measurement may comprise a mold casting kit. In some implementations, the artificial nail measurement may further comprise a mold extraction kit.
In some implementations, a method for the artificial nail measurement comprises a user receiving and using a mold casting kit to form a mold of the user's fingernails, shipping the mold to a nail technician to form a cast or replica of the user's fingernails, and the nail technician using the cast to measure the user's fingernails to select from pre-made artificial nails that then designed and shipped to the user for use.
Method for manufacturing a personalized applicator for the application of a cosmetic composition
Method for manufacturing a personalized applicator for applying a product, notably make-up product, to keratinous materials, including a application surface. The method includes the following steps: a) applying to a surface of the keratinous materials of an individual a composition that modifies the appearance thereof, b) performing an optical acquisition of the topography of the surface thus covered and of at least one image providing information as to the location of the composition, and c) from this acquisition creating the applicator or a mold intended for the manufacture thereof.
