Method for manufacturing a tableware article having a thermal-transfer printed pattern
A method for manufacturing a tableware article having a thermal-transfer printed pattern includes the following steps. Firstly, a PET resin composition including 3 to 15% by weight of an inorganic filler is provided. Next, the PET resin composition is granulated to obtain plastic granules. Then, the plastic granules are molded into the tableware article and the tableware article is post-crystallized. Finally, a thermal transfer printed pattern is printed on a surface of the post-crystallized tableware article.
Method of forming polyethylene terephthalate foam plate
Method of forming a plate including providing a sheet of polyethylene terephthalate foam and thermoforming the polyethylene terephthalate foam into a plate. The plate comprising a bottom wall having an outer perimeter, an upper surface, and a lower support surface defining a horizontal reference plane. The plate further comprising a sidewall extending upwardly and outwardly from the outer perimeter at an angle “a” of between about 30° to about 35° relative to a vertical axis perpendicular to the horizontal reference plane. The plate further including a rim extending laterally outwardly from an upper edge of the sidewall and a turndown flange extending downwardly from an outer edge of the rim and terminating at a free end.
COMBINATION OF WOOD AND PLASTIC TABLEWARE
A system and method of creating tableware includes blending wood particles with plastic to create a wood and plastic blend. The wood and plastic blend is then pressure injected into a mold to create a wood and plastic blend tableware. The wood and plastic blend tableware is then removed from the mold.
The plate further comprising a sidewall extending upwardly and outwardly from the outer perimeter at an angle a of between about 30 to about 35 relative to a vertical axis perpendicular to the horizontal reference plane. The plate further including a rim extending laterally outwardly from an upper edge of the sidewall and a turndown flange extending downwardly from an outer edge of the rim and terminating at a free end.

The plate further includes a sidewall extending upwardly and outwardly from the outer perimeter at an angle a of between about 30 to about 35 relative to a vertical axis perpendicular to the horizontal reference plane. Extending laterally outwardly from an upper edge of the sidewall is a rim. Extending downwardly from an outer edge of the rim and terminating at a free end is a turndown flange. The plate comprises a monolithic structure of polyethylene terephthalate foam. Method of forming the plate is also provided.

OVENWARE, METHOD FOR PRODUCING OVENWARE, AND RESIN COMPOSITION FOR MOLDING OVENWARE
An ovenware has a container portion, and a handle portion connected to the container portion, in which the ovenware is a molded article of a resin composition containing a liquid crystalline polyester resin and a talc filler, a deflection temperature under load of the resin composition is 270 C. or higher, an internal volume of the ovenware is 500 mL or more and 6 L or less, and a thickness of the container portion is 0.3 mm or more and 5 mm or less.

In-mold label forming surfaces for molded articles
A method of making a molded article having a curved surface, such as plates or serving trays, and the resulting molded articles. The in-mold label (IML) is a laminated film that includes a backing layer, a printed surface incorporating one or more designs thereon, a protective film layer, and one or more notches each having adjacent edges separated by a gap of predetermined distance and configured to intersect to ensure conformance of the IML to the angled or curved peripheral portion of the article. The article has front and back sides and a central portion bounded by a peripheral portion having a perimeter that is raised on the front side of the article wherein the peripheral portion transitions from the perimeter to the central portion by an angled surface, a curved surface or combinations thereof, with the article including the IML at least peripheral portion of the molded article.
