METHOD OF MANUFACTURING MOUTHPIECE FOR WIND INSTRUMENT
Disclosed herein is a method of manufacturing a mouthpiece for a wind instrument. The method of manufacturing a mouthpiece for a wind instrument includes the steps of: pulverizing a first material made of a synthetic resin material and a second material made of a mineral material; mixing the first and second materials at a predetermined ratio; melting the mixed materials and continuously extruding a primarily shaped product having a uniform sectional shape; cutting the extruded primarily shaped product into cut primarily shaped products at predetermined intervals; and forming secondarily shaped products by machining the cut primarily shaped products into mouthpiece shapes.
Synthetic reed with cane particles
A synthetic reed for use with a woodwind instrument includes a synthetic resin matrix with randomly distributed suspended cane particles. Synthetic fibers, which may comprise one or more different material filaments, may also be impregnated within resin matrix. The cane particles can be present in a concentration of approximately 0.5-10% by volume and at least a majority of the cane particles in the resin matrix can be less than 100 micrometers. The matrix may be formed from two components including an epoxy resin component and a hardener component. The reed exhibits improved strength properties usually provided by synthetics with the warmer sonic properties associated with natural cane reeds and preferred by musicians.
COMPOSITE REED
Disclosed is a composite reed (55) for a wind instrument and to a method for producing such a reed. The reed has a matrix made of a polymer material and a plurality of reinforcing fibres made of another polymer material, embedded inside the matrix. The other polymer material is a thermoplastic polymer material.
Guitar and manufacturing method thereof
A guitar includes fibers of lengths between 0.2 millimeters to 3 millimeters. The guitar further includes a guitar body, a headstock board, a soundboard, a fretboard, and a guitar bridge. Each of the guitar body, the headstock board, the soundboard, the fretboard, and the guitar bridge is a continuous and single structure. The disclosure also relates to a guitar and a method for manufacturing a guitar. The guitar is superior to the traditional acoustic guitars in terms of volume and mechanical performance, so that a service life of the guitar of the application can be increased by 2 to 3 times compared with traditional acoustic guitars and durable.
Method for manufacturing pickcatcher system
A method of manufacturing a device for, among other things, preventing picks from falling into soundholes of various musical instruments is disclosed. The device is both decorative and functional, including having multiple sizes, contours, and usages. Further, various methods of manufacturing the device are disclosed. The device can have various electronics incorporated therein, and in some embodiments communicates with a mobile application on a handheld computing device. The method of manufacture can include, in an embodiment, manufacturing a circular frame having an inner and outer diameter; manufacturing a circular screen also having an inner and outer diameter to be inserted within the frame in a non-movable snug-fit, fabricating the frame to have an instrument-facing surface and a string-facing surface, and preparing an instrument-facing surface of the frame to be suitable for attachment to a surface of the instrument, among potentially other steps.

Moulding process
The invention is directed to a method of forming a molded item said method comprising the steps of (a) providing a mold former comprising an indentation having an inner surface and a bottom face and made of plastics and manufactured by a 3-dimensional printing process, said mold former being shaped to form a mold having (i) an indentation corresponding to the desired shape of said molded item; and (ii) a series of holes extending between the inner surface and the bottom face of the mold former, (b) forming a mold in said mold former from a plastics material; (c) positioning an elongate member in said mold; (d) introducing a volume of liquid into said indentation; (e) positioning a cover over said mold and sealing it thereto; (f) causing said liquid to solidify.
Percussive instrument mallet
A percussive instrument mallet includes a molded head, a shaft having an optionally threaded nose, and a rigid insert fixed completely within the head. The insert has an inner profile including threads or other protrusions that mate with the nose of the shaft, and an outer profile that is embedded in the mold material. An outer portion of the insert includes a weighting ring that is also embedded in the mold material. The method includes selecting a tool with an optionally threaded nose and a central bore, threading or otherwise securing an insert onto the nose of the tool, supporting a weight ring on the insert; placing the threaded insert and weight ring in a mold, molding the head while over-molding the weight ring and insert, drawing air out of the head through the central bore, disengaging the tool from the insert, and attaching a mallet shaft into the insert.
