INFLATION NEEDLE, ITS MOLD AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SAME
An inflation needle, its mold and method of manufacturing same are provided. The inflation needle (10) includes a hollow cylindrical probe (12); a hollow conic base (14) disposed at one end of the hollow cylindrical probe (12); a hollow externally threaded member (16) projected out of the hollow conic base (14), the hollow externally threaded member (16) being distal the hollow cylindrical probe (12) and communicating therewith; and a plurality of handles (18) disposed on an outer surface of the hollow conic base (14).
MICROPARTICLES/MICROCROWN
A method of producing a microparticle includes providing a mould assembly, which comprises two moulds that comprise an upper mould and a lower mould, positioning the mould assembly in a closed position, wherein the two moulds define a micro-cavity to exert pressure on a moulding material within the micro-cavity to form the moulding material into a microparticle, and positioning the mould assembly in an open position, wherein the microparticle adheres to one of the two moulds of the mould assembly.
Acupuncture needle packaging method and acupuncture needle
A method of acupuncture needle packaging includes inserting an acupuncture needle body of an acupuncture needle including an acupuncture needle handle at an upper portion thereof into an acupuncture needle tube starting from the acupuncture needle handle; disposing the acupuncture needle in the acupuncture needle tube in a state in which the upper portion of the acupuncture needle handle is exposed to an exterior of the acupuncture needle tube; ascending the upper portion of the acupuncture needle handle exposed to the exterior using a pressing jig; irradiating a laser to an area where the acupuncture needle tube and the acupuncture needle handle abut each other; and coupling the acupuncture needle handle and the acupuncture needle tube by thermally deforming the area where the acupuncture needle tube and the acupuncture needle handle abut each other with a heat generated by the laser.
BICYCLE SADDLE AND METHOD FOR MAKING THE SAME
A bicycle saddle includes a stack of fiber fabrics, a braided fiber bundle including two bundle segments, and a cured member. The cured member includes a first cured portion and a second cured portion. The first cured portion is configured to embed the stack of fiber fabrics therein to form a shell having a front nose portion and a rear widened portion. The second cured portion is bonded to and integrally formed with the first cured portion, and is configured to embed the braided fiber bundle therein to form two rails which respectively have the bundle segments therein. A method for making the bicycle saddle is also disclosed.
ACUPRESSURE MEDALLION, METHOD AND DEVICE FOR ITS MANUFACTURE AND METHOD OF REDUCTION OF PAIN FROM ACUPRESSURE REFLEXOTHERAPY
The acupressure element includes a base with spiked applicators and an additional layer of low-melting substance, which creates a surface flush with the points of the spiked applicators. The layer hides the points and prevents pain. During a reflexotherapy procedure, the layer of low-melting material melts, either under the influence of human body heat or with the use of external heating. The points of the spiked applicators are gradually released and begin to press on the skin. The pressure on the skin does not occur immediately, allowing to prepare for increased pain later and acclimate accordingly.
NEEDLE ASSEMBLIES CONTAINING ORIENTED ACUPUNCTURE NEEDLES AND METHODS FOR PRODUCTION THEREOF
Acupuncture needles may be used for piercing tissue with less trauma than may occur when employing larger gauge needles. However, because acupuncture needles are fabricated and packaged differently than are larger gauge needles, acupuncture needles may be less compatible with certain manufacturing processes. Needle assemblies compatible with manufacturing processes may comprise a continuous support material having a plurality of apertures defined therein, and a first injection molded coupler that surrounds a proximal portion of an acupuncture needle and connects the acupuncture needle to a first location upon the continuous support material, such that the acupuncture needle is held in a pre-determined orientation with respect to a longitudinal axis of the first injection molded coupler. The acupuncture needles in adjacent apertures may also be spaced apart substantially uniformly.
HYBRID METHOD OF FORMING MICROSTRUCTURE ARRAY MOLDS, METHODS OF MAKING MICROSTRUCTURE ARRAYS, AND METHODS OF USE
A method of forming a master mold (52), comprising: a) forming a plurality of microstructure portions (42) in a substrate formed of a first material by a first micromachining process, each microstructure portion comprising a shaft (40) and a distal tip (38); b) in preparing a negative mold (46) of the plurality of microstructure portions, wherein the mold is formed of a second material and comprises a plurality of cavities (48) corresponding to each microstructure portion in the plurality of microstructure portions (42); c) electroplating a metal (50) onto the negative mold to fill each cavity in the plurality of cavities and to form abase layer (54) extending from the negative mold; d) forming a proximal section (56) for each of the microstructures in the base layer using a second micromachining process (e.g. mechanical micromachining); and e) before or after said step d), removing the negative mold from the metal to form a master mold.
Production method of mold, manufacturing method of pattern sheet, production method of electroform, and production method of mold using electroform
A production method of a mold includes: preparing a plate precursor having a protruding pattern formed of protrusions in a pattern presence region on a base, and a thermoplastic resin sheet; determining a position at which the plate precursor is to be pressed against the thermoplastic resin sheet by moving the plate precursor and the thermoplastic resin sheet relative to each other; and forming a recessed pattern on the thermoplastic resin sheet by pressing the protrusions of the plate precursor which is heated against the thermoplastic resin sheet at a position where a part of the pattern presence region of the plate precursor excluding the protrusions is separated from a surface of the thermoplastic resin sheet, cooling the plate precursor in a state in where the pressed protrusions and the thermoplastic resin sheet are in contact with each other, and separating the plate precursor from the thermoplastic resin sheet.
Production method of mold having recessed pedestal pattern, and manufacturing method of pattern sheet
Provided are a production method of a mold having a recessed pedestal pattern for preventing a liquid flow and a manufacturing method of a pattern sheet. A production method of a mold having a recessed pedestal pattern, has: a step of preparing an insert mold having a protruding needle pattern group; a step of preparing a mold having a first mold provided with a protruding pedestal shape and a second mold; a holding step of holding the protruding pedestal shape of the first mold and the protruding needle pattern group of the insert mold in an overlapping manner; a clamping step of performing clamping with the first mold and the second mold to form a cavity; and an injection step of filling the cavity with a resin.
