Press system
A press system providing excellent energy efficiency for a whole press system and capable of achieving low prices is provided. A die cushion apparatus constituting a press system supports a cushion pad, includes a hydraulic cylinder which generates a die cushion load on the cushion pad when a slide of a press machine descends, the press machine includes a hydraulic cylinder which generates part of a press load on the slide when the slide descends. The pressure generation chamber of the hydraulic cylinder for generating a die cushion load and the pressure generation chamber of the hydraulic cylinder for generating part of the press load can communicate with each other via pipes and a first logic valve for a period during which the die cushion load acts.
SLIDE MOTION CONTROL APPARATUS FOR MECHANICAL PRESS
A slide motion control apparatus for a mechanical press comprising: a slide which is disposed so as to be relatively vertically movable with respect to a driven body to which a drive force is transmitted through a con rod of the mechanical press; a relative position commander that outputs a relative position command indicating a relative position of the slide with respect to the driven body; a relative position detector that detects a relative position of the slide with respect to the driven body, and outputs a relative position detecting signal indicating the detected relative position; a servomotor; a drive mechanism that relatively moves the slide with respect to the driven body by a drive force of the servomotor; and a controller that controls the servomotor based on a relative position command signal output from the relative position commander, and the relative position detecting signal output from the relative position detector.

Press machine and method for controlling slide of press machine
There is provided a press machine which can apply a large compression force to a mold as well as impart smooth vibration only in a rectilinear advancing direction to the mold, and thereby can improve the press-formability. A main slide and a sub-slide constitute a slide and at the same time a cylinder-piston mechanism. During press-forming, a compression force is transmitted to the sub-slide (an upper mold) through hydraulic pressure applied interlockingly with driving of the main slide, and the sub-slide is vibrated with the hydraulic pressure being periodically changed. Favorable press-forming can be performed even under relatively difficult press-forming conditions, by controlling the vibration such that a vibration frequency of the sub-slide (the upper mold) becomes 9 Hz or higher but 33.3 Hz or lower and a vibration amplitude of the sub-slide becomes 0.05 mm or larger but 0.5 mm or smaller.

A forging machine with one or more hammers, comprising, for each hammer, an eccentric shaft (1) adapted to rotate about a first axis; a connecting rod (2), adapted to be actuated by the eccentric shaft operating as crank; a guiding frame (10); wherein the hammer is adapted to perform an alternating working movement within said guiding frame along a second axis perpendicular to the first axis; wherein the hammer comprises a hydraulic cylinder (8) provided with a hollow body (5), to which a forging member (15) is externally fixed, and with a piston (3) at least partially inserted within said hollow body and removably coupled to the connecting rod; wherein a first hydraulic chamber (6), arranged between piston and hollow body, allows to move the hollow body away from and/or towards said piston; wherein uncoupling means are provided for uncoupling the piston from the connecting rod.

FORGING MACHINE
A forging machine with one or more hammers, comprising, for each hammer, an eccentric shaft (1) adapted to rotate about a first axis; a connecting rod (2), adapted to be actuated by the eccentric shaft operating as crank; a guiding frame (10); wherein the hammer is adapted to perform an alternating working movement within said guiding frame along a second axis perpendicular to the first axis; wherein the hammer comprises a hydraulic cylinder (8) provided with a hollow body (5), to which a forging member (15) is externally fixed, and with a piston (3) at least partially inserted within said hollow body and removably coupled to the connecting rod; wherein a first hydraulic chamber (6), arranged between piston and hollow body, allows to move the hollow body away from and/or towards said piston; wherein uncoupling means are provided for uncoupling the piston from the connecting rod.
