Method and installation for manufacturing a floor covering product and floor covering product obtained hereby
A method for manufacturing a floor covering product includes the steps of forming a single- or multilayered substrate by extruding of synthetic material-based material in a layer shape; laminating at least one continuous film to the substrate; and impressing the at least one continuous film using a roller provided with a relief on its surface.

Method and apparatus for rapid continuous consolidation of thermoplastic components
A method and structure for processing a plurality of prepreg sheets includes a conveyor assembly having a first conveyor, a second conveyor, and a processing zone positioned between the first and second conveyors. In an implementation, a plurality of prepreg sheets are advanced from a plurality of material supply creels into the processing zone by a first conveyor and a second conveyor turning in opposite directions. Within the processing zone, a compressive pressure is applied to the prepreg sheets by first pressure plates attached to first conveyor and second pressure plates attached to the second conveyor. A thermoplastic within the prepreg sheets is melted within the processing zone by a heater to consolidate the prepreg sheets into a consolidated laminate.
DOUBLE BELT PRESS COMPRISING AT LEAST ONE PRESSING DEVICE
A double belt press has at least one press device having at least one pressing plate and at least one counter-pressure element for the pressing plate each other. Portions of first and second endless and driven metal belt belts are guided, opposite one another, through a press gap located between the pressing plate sides facing one another and the plate-shaped counter-pressure element. The press device has at least one pressing stamp having a pressing surface movable toward the counter-pressure element and back again. The first and second endless metal belt portions guided through the press gap are guided between the pressing surface of the at least one pressing stamp and the at least one counter-pressure element, and the pressing surface of the pressing stamp is smaller than a surface of the side of the at least one pressing plate facing the at least one counter-pressure element.

PRODUCTION OF A LIGNOCELLULOSE-CONTAINING, PLASTIC-COATED AND PRINTABLE MOLDING
A process for producing a lignocellulose-containing, plastic-coated and printable molding (26), in particular in sheet form, comprising the steps of: a) producing a layer (A, B′) containing lignocellulose-containing particles according to the shape of the molding to be produced (26); b) applying a layer (C) of particles containing electron beam-reactive thermoplastic onto the layer produced according to the preceding feature; c) heating the layers (A, C) produced according to the preceding features such that thermoplastic particles melt into the layer containing lignocellulose-containing particles (Cs); d) pressing the layers heated according to feature (1c); and e) irradiating the layers pressed according to feature (1d) with electrons in the energy range from 1 MeV to 10 MeV. The process is for example elucidated with reference to an MDF sheet one-sidedly provided with a polymer layer.
Process For Manufacturing A Conveyor Belt
Methods of manufacturing a conveyor belt (126) include applying a rubber composition (114) to a first side of fabric reinforcement (112) and scattering productive thermoplastic elastomer pellets (106) onto a second side of the fabric reinforcement to produce an uncured belt structure (120). The uncured belt structure (120) is continuous fed into a double belt press (116) to press the productive thermoplastic elastomer pellets (106) together with the fabric reinforcement (112) to produce an uncured belt (128). Uncured belt (128) is then heated in the double belt press (116) to a temperature of at least 300° F. and maintained in the double belt press (116) under a pressure of at least 12 psi and a temperature of at least 300° C. for a residence time of at least 20 minutes to produce a cured conveyor belt (130), which is continuously withdrawn from the double belt press (116).
