A method for producing a bowl formed by a tray closed by a sealing film involves preparing a blank where a first and a second couples of crease lines delimit a bottom panel, two first and two second side walls, each first side wall provided of an internal flap and an external flap delimited by respective third and fourth crease lines, each second side wall provided of an internal flap and an external flap delimited by respective fifth and sixth crease lines, erecting the blank into a tray, folding the internal and external flaps of each first side wall about the respective third crease line and the internal and external flaps of each second side wall about the respective fifth crease line, applying adhesive on the internal and/or external flaps of each first and second side walls, folding the external flap of each first side wall about the respective fourth crease line and the external flap of each second side wall about the respective sixth crease line, forming a rim, applying adhesive on gaps between abutting ends of rims of adjacent first and second side walls, and attaching the sealing film on the rims.

Box and method of constructing the same
A box suitable for the packaging of a consumer product is formed by helically wrapping an elongated continuous strip of material around a mandrel to form a main body with a plurality of bands. In one embodiment, adjacent bands partially overlie one another to form a multi-paneled main body with an open top end and an open bottom end. An adhesive is disposed within the region of contact between adjacent bands to retain the shape of the main body. First and second sets of slots are formed in the main body to create flaps dimensioned to selectively enclose the open top and bottom ends, respectively. To define the flaps and promote pivotal articulation, the main body is also preferably provided with score lines. By adjusting the configuration of the mandrel, a customized box can be constructed that is sized to receive a consumer product with limited wasted space.
CARTON PRODUCTION METHOD
Provided is a carton production method capable of preventing quality deterioration which may happen during the sealing due to adhesion of an adhesive. This method comprises: a first insertion step K1 of rotating the lid body toward the one side surface of the box body to a position where the inserting flap overlaps the suspension hole; an application step K2 of applying an adhesive to the inserting flap through the suspension hole; a second insertion step K3 of curving the one side surface of the box body inserting the insertion flap and closing the upper surface of the box body with the lid body; and an adhesion step K4 of bonding the inserting flap to the inside of the one side surface of the box body.

A pusher member of the conveyor and a suction head of the suction mechanism are both movable by a same second rotary electric motor coupled to a second rotational monitoring device. A pack for smoking articles having: an inner container housing a group of smoking articles and provided with an extraction opening for the smoking articles; a closing tab coupled to the inner container in the area of the extraction opening to close the extraction opening, the closing tab being glued to the inner container in a releasable manner; a rigid outer container that houses the inner container; and a cup-shaped lid hinged to the outer container so as to rotate, relative to the outer container, between an opening position and a closing position. The closing tab has: a plastic layer arranged internally, a through opening arranged in the area of the extraction opening, and directly glued to an outer surface of the inner container using re-stick glue; and a paper layer arranged in contact with the plastic layer and more on the outside than the plastic layer.
