A magnetising device in a web processing machine for magnetising a magnetisable area of a web of packaging material is disclosed. The magnetising device comprises a first magnetic component having a north pole and a south pole, and a second magnetic component having a north pole and a south pole. Poles of a first and same polarity are arranged adjacent in an opposed relationship and poles of a second and the same polarity are arranged remote from each other.

A device for processing substrates improves processing quality during separation or punching of such substrates. An object of the present disclosure is to prevent wrinkles in a folding line portion of a paper irrespective of the conditions such as the type, the size, and the like of the paper, thereby securing the precision of the position of a folding line when a flap (such as a flap portion) of an envelope is folded back. The apparatus includes a cutting wheel which is opposed to a pressure wheel. The cutting wheel includes cutting teeth spaced about its periphery. Interlocked zipper material is engaged between the cutting wheel and the pressure wheel to form indentations in the interlocked zipper, thereby resulting in audible and tactile feedback when the zipper is operated.
