Method and apparatus for manufacturing spouted pouch containers
The present disclosure relates to an apparatus and method for manufacturing spouted pouch containers. The method includes arranging an upper and lower strip with their inner sides on top of each other, folding at least one longitudinal edge of the upper strip away from the lower strip to expose both an inner side portion of the folded longitudinal edge of the upper strip and an inner side portion of the lower strip, arranging a spouted cover strip on top of the exposed inner side portions, sealing pairs of side walls of the upper and lower strip to each other and sealing the spouted cover strip to the exposed inner side portion of the lower and upper strips, and cutting the upper strip and lower strip into individual pouch containers. The apparatus is provided for carrying out the manufacturing method.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A NOVEL PAPER BAG AND BAGS THEREFOR
What is disclosed is a method of constructing a pager bag having looped attachments wherein the method comprises forming a predetermined construction from paper bag paper.
PROTECTIVE PRODUCTS SUCH AS ENVELOPES HAVING A UNIQUE COMBINATION OF INTERIOR PADDING OF EXPANDED SLIT SHEET PAPER AND EXTERIOR LINING OF EMOSSED PAPER
A protective product, such as, e.g., an envelope or pouch, is provided that includes at least one expanded slit paper sheet in an expanded state, and an embossed paper sheet facing the expanded slit paper sheet and fixed to the expanded slit paper sheet along at least a portion of a length in an expansion direction of the expanded slit sheet paper. In the preferred embodiments, the embossed paper sheet has a plurality of embossings that increase the rigidity of the embossed paper sheet, thereby inhibiting deformation of the embossed paper sheet that is fixed to the expanded slit sheet paper.

Package having a lap or fin seal gap elimination feature
A flexible package having a closure device and a lap or fin seal is provided that reduces or eliminates an air gap present at the fin or lap seal portion of packages. The package can include a film with a closure applied to the film. The flexible package can include a film having a closure device applied to the film transverse to the first and second side edges of the film, with the first side edge portion extending into the fin seal such that at least a portion of the first side edge portion eliminates an air gap between the fin or lap seal and at least one of the first and second side edge portions.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR APPLYING COVER SHEETS TO ENDS, PREFORMED INTO CROSS BOTTOMS, OF TUBE PORTIONS
A device and a method for applying cover sheets to cross-bottoms of tubular sections made of a plastic material. The device includes conveyor devices for transporting the tubular sections and for depositing the cover sheets on the cross-bottoms in a deposit area. The device includes a hot gas device with a gas heater and a nozzle connected to the gas heater and oriented toward the deposit area for the cover sheets so when gas is supplied to the gas heater, the gas flows along a flow path from the gas supply through the gas heater and the nozzle into the deposit area. The hot gas device has a hot gas reservoir with an internal volume for the temporary storage of hot gas, the flow path running through the hot gas reservoir. A gas mass flow ({dot over (m)}1, {dot over (m)}2, {dot over (m)}ges) of gas supplied to the gas heater is adjustable by a control.
