Quick filling and self sealing fluid storage bag assembly
A fluid storage bag comprising a storage bag sealed to a collapsible quick filling and self-sealing fill tube. After partially filling the storage bag, through the fill tube, to a desired level with water or other liquid the storage bag is inverted, thereby collapsing and effectively sealing the fill tube against itself. After use, the storage bag may be re-filled, or recycled. In one example, a 4 inch wide fill tube extends at 6 inches into the storage bag, with the last 5 inches creating a funnel to a 2 inch bottom width. In other examples air or other gas may be introduced through the fill tube; and as the bag is pressurized, the fill tube collapses and seals so that the bag may serve as a flotation device, air mattress, pillow or other device.

FILM FOR GAS DISCHARGE AND BAG MADE FROM THE SAME
A film for gas discharge includes an inner film member, an outer film member, adhesive for securing the inner and outer film members together, an inlet through the inner film member, an outlet in the adhesive adjacent to ends of the inner and outer film members, a release member between the inlet and the outlet, and a valve on the release member. The valve may close the release member to block a passage from the inlet to the outlet or open the release member to unblock the passage. A bag made from the film for gas discharge is also provided.
POUCH CONTAINER AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A pouch container has a gas filling space therein, and includes a first wall section and a second wall section. The first wall section includes a first tongue-shaped portion. The second wall section includes a second tongue-shaped portion and overlapping the first tongue-shaped portion. A projection length of the second tongue-shaped portion is longer than that of the first tongue-shaped portion. A gas injection portion is provided in which an injection port communicating with the gas filling space is formed by joining both end portions of both the first tongue-shaped portion and the second tongue-shaped portion in a width direction, and the injection port is defined by a tip end portion of the first tongue-shaped portion in a projection direction and the second tongue-shaped portion at a portion facing the tip end portion.
Flexible packaging structure with a built-in opening and reclose feature
A flexible packaging laminate is formed to have a built-in opening and reclose feature by forming the laminate as a two-part structure having an outer structure joined in face-to-face relation with an inner structure. Score lines are formed in both structures to enable an opening to be formed through the laminate by lifting an opening portion (e.g., a flap or the like) of the two structures out of the plane of the laminate. The score line through the outer structure defines a larger opening than the score line through the inner structure, such that a marginal region of the outer structure extends beyond the edge of the opening portion of the inner structure. A pressure-sensitive adhesive is used to re-adhere the marginal region to an underlying surface of the inner structure adjacent the opening through the laminate.
Flexible packaging structure with a built-in opening and reclose feature
The invention comprises, in an embodiment, a resealable packaging structure comprising a container having a bottom and at least one sidewall extending upwardly therefrom, wherein the sidewall terminates in a flange. A flexible resealable lid is sealed to the flange. The lid comprises a polyethylene terephthalate layer disposed adjacent the flange, a pressure sensitive adhesive layer disposed adjacent the polyethylene terephthalate layer, and an oriented polypropylene layer disposed adjacent the pressure sensitive adhesive layer. The polyethylene terephthalate layer comprises a laser scored line which penetrates through the thickness of the inner layer but not through the outer layer and defines an opening portion that can be lifted out of the plane of the inner layer, thereby creating an opening through the lid defined by the laser score line.

Liner for beverage and food vessels
A liner for use with a fluid dispensing vessel. The liner includes a flexible pouch defining an interior region and configured to be placed in a fluid dispensing vessel. The pouch includes a top end that is partially sealed and that includes a first opening. The pouch includes a fluid passageway defined by at least two sealed boundaries and that leads from the opening to the interior region. The pouch includes a bottom end that includes a second opening. The liner includes a fluid dispensing fitment connected to the pouch and configured to be in fluid communication with interior region via the second opening. When fluid is poured into the interior region of the pouch through the opening, it can be dispensed from the pouch through the fitment.
