The present invention relates to an adhesive composition comprising, among others, (i) microfibrillated cellulose and (ii) a metal in oxidation state of II or greater. The present invention further relates to uses of such an adhesive composition and to products prepared with such an adhesive composition. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a process for making corrugated paperboards or cardboards, or solid paperboards or cardboards by using such an adhesive composition.

Two actuators raise and lower the pivoting arms and the guide rollers. A hinge system allows to keep the pivoting structure cantilevered to replace the continuous flexible member.

One or more controllers can be used to aggregate upcoming orders and information needed to complete the manufacturing process for the order. A controller enables a user to prepare control plans (e.g., reel maps, reel plans, etc.) for processing rolls of web product through the manufacturing process. Criteria filtering and/or various features enable generation of efficient and effective control plans for rolls of web product, including, in some cases, multiple orders. The control plan may include a set of instructions for operating one or more systems within the manufacturing process to form the desired finished paper-based product. In such a regard, efficient manufacturing of various paper-based products, including corrugated boxes, folded carton, labels, flexible paper, industrial bags, plates, cups, décor, and many others, can be achieved.

The desired moisture set point values are based on the hygroexpansivity of each individual paper liner. Once the moisture set point value has been determined, a conditioning apparatus adjusts a moisture value for each liner in order to tune the post-warp characteristics of the final corrugated product.

The system also includes an editing information storage unit storing the editing information output from the information editing unit, a prediction model calculation unit calculating a prediction model of the warping state based on the editing information stored in the editing information storage unit; and a control table update unit updating a target value of a control value of a control element in the cardboard sheet manufacturing apparatus, based on the prediction model.
