TISSUE PRODUCT AND METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING SAME

A multi-ply tissue paper product includes at least three plies. The tissue paper product includes a first inner ply being a creped ribbed ply and having a basis weight of 10 to 30 gsm, and a first outermost ply and a second outermost ply on each side of said inner ply, the first and second outermost plies being non-ribbed plies, wherein a creped ribbed ply is a ply including ribs and valleys providing an average core roughness Rk in the range 10 to 300 μm, and peaks being 4 to 12 per cm as measured along said first direction; and wherein a non-ribbed ply is a ply displaying no parallel ribs and valleys extending continuously along any direction of the ply or displaying parallel ribs and valleys extending continuously along any direction of the ply, the ribs and valleys providing peaks being less than 4 per cm.

Sheet post-processing device and image forming system including same

A sheet post-processing device includes: an alignment member which aligns a sheet bundle on a stacking tray; and a stapler which performs binding processing on a rear end of the sheet bundle. The stapler includes: a first stapler which moves along the rear end of a first sheet bundle and performs the binding processing on a plurality of positions at the rear end of the first sheet bundle; and a second stapler which performs, at one part of an end portion of the rear end on one side, binding processing different from the first stapler. The alignment member includes: a first alignment member and a second alignment member which align the sheet bundle in a first stacking position; and a third alignment member which is fixed to a position corresponding to the second stapler and which aligns the sheet bundle in a second stacking position with the first alignment member.

TISSUE PRODUCT AND METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING SAME

A method for manufacturing a multi-ply tissue paper web for tissue paper products including providing a first inner web having a basis weight of 10 to 30 gsm, providing a first and a second outermost web being non-ribbed webs, wherein a non-ribbed web is defined as a web displaying no parallel ribs and valleys extending continuously along any direction of the web or displaying parallel ribs and valleys extending continuously along any direction of the web, said ribs and valleys providing a number of peaks being less than 4 per cm; positioning said first inner web between said first and second outermost webs; and ply-bonding said webs to a form a multi-ply web wherein said first and second outermost webs form the outermost plies of the multi-ply web.

A process and system for making a domed product by forming domes or protrusions into a sheet. The process including: moving a die set comprising one or more domes or protrusions, wherein the die set selectively registers with the sheet; latching the die set to the sheet after the selectively registering; and pressing the one or more domes or protrusions of the die set into the sheet for a period to obtain the domed product, wherein the die set moves independently from the sheet prior to the latching.

EMBOSSING DEVICE FOR EMBOSSING A CELLULOSE WEB MATERIAL AND RELATED METHOD

The embossing device includes one or more cameras with respective lighting and image acquiring systems to acquire images of one or more plies of the produced cellulose web material. The images can be used to detect any defect in the produced material and to alarm, or signal the need for intervention on an embossing device. Based on the defects on the product detected by processing the acquired images, it is also possible to directly intervene on functional units of the embossing device, to remove or reduce the defects.
