Glazing with optical device
The invention concerns a laminated glazing with an optically transparent area (22) comprising (i) at least one inner (13) and one outer (14) glass sheets, each having an internal and an external faces, and being high level of near infrared radiation transmission glass sheets, (ii) at least one thermoplastic interlayer (20) to laminate the at least the inner and the outer glass sheets, comprising at least a first zone (11) and a second zone (12), the second zone (12) being delimited by the optically transparent area (22), and (iii) at least ne optical sensor device (2) provided on the inner face of the inner pane integrated in the optically transparent area (22). According to the present invention, the thermoplastic interlayer comprises a second zone (12) delimited by the optically transparent area where the laminated glazing has a value of infrared transmission TIR1 higher than the value of infrared transmission TIR2 of the first zone (11) for the working wavelengths of the optical device.
Laminate, method for manufacturing electronic device, and method for manufacturing laminate
The present invention provides a laminate that can eliminate adsorption defects of a substrate caused by warping of the substrate and enables electronic devices to be manufactured at high yield. The present invention pertains to a laminate that is provided with a support base material, an adhesion layer, and a substrate in said order. The substrate is provided with a dielectric multilayer film in which dielectric layers having different refractive indexes are alternately laminated on an outer surface of the substrate. The substrate provided with the dielectric multilayer film is disposed on the adhesion layer such that the dielectric multilayer film adheres in a peelable manner to the adhesion layer.
Vehicle Window Pane Comprising a Light Source and a Light-Conducting Layer
A vehicle window pane having a window pane body assembly having an outer side, which faces a vehicle environment, and an inner side, which faces a vehicle interior, and having a light-conducting layer; and a light source configured to couple its light into the light-conducting layer. An input coupling element coupling light emitted by the light source into the light-conducting layer is disposed on the inner side of the window pane body assembly.
LAMINATED GLASS
The present invention is a windshield on which an information acquisition device that acquires information from outside of a vehicle by emitting and/or receiving light can be arranged, the windshield including: an outer glass plate; an inner glass plate; an interlayer film arranged between the outer glass plate and the inner glass plate; and a mask layer laminated on at least one of a surface on a vehicle interior side of the outer glass plate and a surface on a vehicle exterior side of the inner glass plate, in which the interlayer film includes a colored shade region, a transparent non-shade region, and a transparent sheet member that is fitted into at least one through hole formed over the shade region and the non-shade region.
COMPOSITE PANE FOR A VEHICLE WITH INTEGRATED RADAR SENSOR
A composite pane for a vehicle with an outer pane and an inner pane that are joined to one another via a thermoplastic intermediate layer and the composite pane is provided for separation of a vehicle interior for occupants from an external environment, wherein at least one radar sensor is integrated into the thermoplastic intermediate layer and is designed and arranged such that the radar sensor emits radar beams into the vehicle interior and receives reflected radar beams, and the radar sensor is connected to an evaluation unit for determining movement and/or presence of persons or animals in the vehicle interior.
LAMINATED GLAZING HAVING HOLOGRAPHIC FILM AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A LAMINATED GLAZING
A method of preparing a glazing, comprising: stacking a first glass sheet, a first interlayer, a photopolymer film, a second interlayer, and a second glass sheet to provide a lamination stack; &airing the lamination stack; autoclaving the lamination stack to provide a laminated glazing; applying a reactive light to the photopolymer film in the laminated glazing, wherein reactive light is applied to the laminated glazing through a master holographic film; and bleaching the laminated glazing such that the photopolymer film is no longer reactive to light exposure.
Protective film for windshield of vehicle
The present invention relates to a protective film for a windshield of a vehicle, which can be installed on a curved portion of the windshield of the vehicle without a thermoforming process, thereby improving the workability of a worker, and improving impact resistance to effectively protect the windshield of the vehicle.
Laminated glass
A laminated glass according to the present invention includes: a first glass plate having a rectangular shape, and including a first side and a second side opposing the first side; a second glass plate arranged opposing the first glass plate, and having substantially the same shape as the shape of the first glass plate; an intermediate film arranged between the first glass plate and the second glass plate; a first bus bar extending along an end portion closer to the first side; a second bus bar extending along an end portion closer to the second side; and a plurality of heating lines extending so as to connect the first bus bar and the second bus bar to each other, wherein at least some of the plurality of heating lines are heating lines having different lengths.
Electrical connection configurations for privacy glazing structures
A privacy glazing structure may include an electrically controllable optically active material that provides controlled transition between a privacy or scattering state and a visible or transmittance state. To make electrical connections with electrode layers that control the optically active material, the privacy glazing structure may include electrode engagement regions. In some examples, the electrode engagement regions are formed as notches in peripheral edges of opposed panes bounding the optically active material. The notches may or may not overlap to provide a through conduit in the region of overlap for wiring. In either case, the notches may allow the remainder of the structure to have a flush edge surface for ease of downstream processing.
HURRICANE DOOR
An entryway door is capable of withstanding direct hit hurricane loads and subsequent water surge for long periods. A door slab is formed of reaction-injected-molded aliphatic polyurethane having an outward face, and inward face, and a peripheral edge, with a window opening formed therethrough. A ballistic glass-clad polycarbonate laminate window is provided which sized larger than the window opening. The laminate window having a central light transmissive region and an outer boarder region. A primer is applied to the outer boarder region of outward and inward faces of the laminate window. The door slab is reaction-injected-molded about the laminate window with the outer boarder region extending into and is bonded to a portion of the door slab forming the window opening. The preferred door in mounted to a structure in an outwardly opening manor with a seal entrapped between the periphery of the door and a door jam.
