According to another embodiment, there is provided a hard coat laminate film having a total light transmittance of 80% or more and having (γ) a hard coat on at least one surface of a transparent laminate film constituted of (α) an aromatic-polycarbonate resin film containing 30 mol % or more of a structural unit derived from 4,4′-(3,3,5-trimethylcyclohexane-1,1-diyl)diphenol, when the total of the structural units derived from aromatic dihydroxy compounds is 100 mol %, and (β) a poly(meth)acrylimide resin film.

The layer (Y) contains an aluminum-containing compound (A) and an organic phosphorus compound (BO), and the organic phosphorus compound (BO) contains a phosphorus atom-containing functional group and at least one metal ion (Z) selected from ions of metals of Groups 1 to 12 of the periodic table, the content of the metal ion (Z) being 0.4 to 8.0 mol % relative to the content of the phosphorus atom-containing functional group.

Described herein is a multilayer microporous film or membrane that may exhibit improved properties, including improved dielectric break down and strength, compared to prior monolayer or tri-layer microporous membranes of the same thickness. The preferred multilayer microporous membrane comprises microlayers and one or more lamination barriers. Also disclosed is a battery separator or battery comprising one or more of the multilayer microporous films or membranes. The inventive battery and battery separator is preferably safer and more robust than batteries and battery separators using prior monolayer and tri-layer microporous membranes. Also, described herein is a method for making the multilayer microporous separators, membranes or films described herein.

LAMINATED GLASS

A laminated glass includes first and second glass plates. First and second interlayers are arranged on the first and second glass plates, respectively. The first and second glass plates are arranged so as to have the first and second interlayers face each other. An enclosing layer is arranged between the first and second interlayers. The enclosing layer includes a functional member having a sidewall, and a dummy layer arranged on the sidewall, the functional member including one or more transparent layers. The functional member has a thickness of 200 μm at a maximum. The dummy layer is made of a thermoplastic resin. When denoting an average refractive index of the transparent layers included in the functional member as nA, and denoting a refractive index of the dummy layer as nB, a difference Δn of the refractive indices expressed by an absolute value |nA−nB| is 0.05 or less.

BARRIER FILM AND PACKAGING MATERIAL

An object of the present invention is to provide a barrier film whose gas barrier properties hardly deteriorate even after a retort treatment and after a Gelboflex test. The barrier film of the present invention includes a barrier coat layer, an inorganic oxide deposition layer, and a substrate layer, in this order, wherein the barrier coat layer has a hardness of 1.10 GPa or more and 1.55 GPa or less, and a plastic deformation rate of 21.0% or more.
