The floor has an upper surface and an oppositely opposed lower surface. Each of the plurality of side wall panels has an exterior surface and an oppositely opposed interior surface. The end wall panel has an exterior surface and an oppositely opposed interior surface. Each of the floor, the plurality of side wall panels, and the end wall panel being formed of a composite sandwich panel material formed of an open area core defining a plurality of pores, a surface sheet adhered to a first face of the open area core by a first adhesive layer, and a structural skin adhered to a second face of the open area core by a second adhesive layer.
Ultra stable structural laminate
An ultra-stable structural laminate with fire resistance and a lateral nail pull strength from 44 to 300 pounds of force and an insulation R value from 1 to 40, the ultra-stable structural laminate of a cementious material with a nano-molecular veneer and a foam component catalytically reacted into an expanded closed cell foam having a thickness from ⅛.sup.th inch to 8 inches, a density from 1.5 pounds/cubic foot to 3 pounds/cubic foot that self-adheres to the cementitious material forming an ultra-stable structural laminate with fire resistance and a lateral nail pull strength from 44 pounds to 300 pounds of force, an insulation R value from 1 to 40, a resistance to seismic impact for earthquakes over 3.1 on the Richter Scale, a break point from 7 lbs/inch to 100 lbs/inch; and a resistance to wind shear equivalent to a 15 mph downburst.
Absorbing sound insulation motor trim element
The invention relates to a method for producing an absorbing sound insulation motor vehicle trim element having a four-layered structure made from a first foam layer, a second foam layer, a non-woven foam layer and a non-woven fabric layer. The invention further relates to an absorbing sound insulation motor vehicle trim element.
Synthetic resin skin material composite and method of producing synthetic resin skin material composite
A synthetic resin skin material composite, including: a urethane resin skin material including a urethane resin skin layer provided at one surface of a substrate; and a cushion layer that is placed at a surface on an opposite side of the substrate from the surface of the urethane resin skin material at which the urethane resin skin layer is provided; in which the urethane resin skin material has recesses at a side of the urethane resin skin layer, and each of the recesses has a depth in a thickness direction of the synthetic resin skin material composite, such that the recesses extend from the urethane resin skin layer into the cushion layer beyond an interface between the urethane resin skin material and the cushion layer that is present in a region without a recess, as well as a method of producing a synthetic resin skin material composite.
Managing condensation with fluid control film apparatus
A condensation management apparatus comprises a microstructured film arranged to condense water vapor on an underside of a substantially horizontal surface. The film comprises channels disposed at least on a first major surface and configured to support capillary movement of condensate. The channels have a channel axis substantially parallel with a longitudinal axis of the film. A capillary siphon structure of the film comprises a fold in the film, a condensate collection region proximate the fold, and a siphon region between the fold and a condensate release location of the film. At least a portion of a second major surface is attached to the underside of the substantially horizontal surface such that longitudinal openings of the channels of the condensate collection region are oriented towards a direction of gravity and the condensate release location is positioned lower along the direction of gravity than the condensate collection region.
Composite structures with embedded electrical grids
A composite structure of a cargo body and a method of making the same are disclosed. The composite structure includes at least one electrical grid embedded within fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) layers. The embedded electrical grid includes a plurality of conductive fibers and a plurality of insulating fibers integrated into a polymer matrix of the FRP layers. The embedded electrical grid may be used for power distribution, structural strengthening and stiffness, and/or puncture detection.
Floorings prepared from composites comprising expanded thermoplastic elastomer particles
The present invention relates to a composite comprising (1) a bottom layer comprising expanded thermoplastic elastomer particles; and (2) a surface layer on the bottom layer, and the use of such composites in flooring surfaces sports, sports hall floorings, swimming pool hall floorings, running tracks, sports facilities, playgrounds, kindergartens, park walkway and pavements.
Patient securement system for the surgical Trendelenburg position
A patient securing overlay is provided that includes a sheet of fabric for supporting a patient's torso on a surgical table. The sheet of fabric has an upper surface configured to face the patient and a lower surface configured to face a surgical table mattress or underbody support. The sheet of fabric includes friction enhancing elements applied to at least a portion of the upper surface thereof. The sheet of fabric can include an extension at a foot end of the sheet of fabric that provides material to be tucked under a foot end of the surgical table mattress or underbody support for securing the foot end of the sheet of fabric to the surgical table mattress or underbody support. The extension can include one or more friction enhancing elements.
INTERIOR TRIM FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE, COMPRISING A HEADLINER AND A STIFFENING FRAME AND METHOD FOR THEIR MANUFACTURE
The disclosure provides an interior trim part for a motor vehicle having a sliding or panoramic roof comprising a headliner and a stiffening frame attached to the headliner and enclosing and stabilizing an opening in the headliner enclosing the sliding or panoramic window, the stiffening frame being made of a fiber-reinforced composite material comprising a fiber mat and a textile lattice material, the textile lattice material being applied over a surface of the fiber mat and impregnated together therewith.
Flexible sound barrier and rigid mounting assembly and mounting method
A flexible sound barrier and rigid mounting assembly, and a method of attaching to a vehicle. The sound barrier assembly includes a rigid substrate, and flexible noise barrier and decoupling layers. The decoupling and noise barrier layers are bonded, and an adhesive bonds the decoupling layer to the substrate. The decoupling and noise barrier layers are fixedly held in place by the substrate. The substrate can include slots that fit over mounting studs on the vehicle wall. The noise barrier and decoupling layers can include mounting holes that extend through both layers, where the mounting holes line up with the slots, and fit over the mounting studs. The assembly can be mounted on the mounting studs and stud fasteners can fit through a mounting hole without compressing the noise barrier and decoupling layers and sandwich the rigid substrate surrounding a slot between the stud fastener and the vehicle wall.
