Decorative Panel, and Decorative Floor Covering Consisting of Said Panels
Decorative panel, in particular a floor panel, ceiling panel or wall panel, including a core layer having an upper side and a lower side, a decorative top layer connected to said upper side of the core layer, a first panel side edge including a first coupling profile, and a second panel side edge including a second coupling profile designed to interconnect with a first coupling profile of a second, identical panel, both in horizontal direction and in vertical direction. The core layer includes a layer of foam concrete which is constituted by a matrix of concrete material in which air pockets in the form of cells are present.
HIGH SALT GYPSUM WALLBOARD CONTAINING SALT ABSORBENTS AND METHODS OF MAKING SAME
A gypsum wallboard having a core with a central core layer and one or more densified layers is disclosed. At least one densified layer contains salt absorbent particles of zeolite and/or hydrotalcite to improve adhesion of the gypsum core to a cover sheet. Also, methods of making the gypsum wallboard and a wall system for employing the gypsum wallboard are disclosed.
METHOD FOR PREPARING MAT-FACED BOARD
Disclosed is an improved facer mat for use as a cover sheet for gypsum board. Also disclosed are gypsum boards containing such mat facers on one or both major surfaces of the board (face and back sides when installed), a method of manufacturing such board, and a method of making the mat. The mat can comprise glass, thermoplastic, and/or thermoset fiber. In preferred embodiments, binder is included with the fiber. The mat has outer and inner surfaces. The mat comprises a first region adjacent to the outer surface defined along a horizontal plane of the mat, the first region having a first substantial thickness, and a second region adjacent to the inner surface defined along a horizontal plane of the mat, the second region having a second substantial thickness. The first region has (a) more hydrophilicity than the second region, (b) more wettability than the second region, and/or (c) less density than the second region.
Cladding panel
A cladding panel comprising a top multi-film layer and a base layer configured for connection to a substrate, the top multi-film layer including at least an external substantially transparent film and a granular film adjacent to the external substantially transparent film. Disclosed are also methods of producing the cladding panel and kits of cladding panels.
Polyisocyanurate coverboards with improved fire resistance
A construction board includes a foam body having first and second planar surfaces, said foam body including a polyisocyanurate foam matrix defining a plurality of closed cells, said closed cells being at least substantially devoid of hydrocarbon blowing agents, and said foam body being characterized by a density, pursuant to ASTM C303, of at least 2.5 lbs/ft.sup.3; and a facer disposed on a planar surface of said foam body, said facer including a glass substrate having an internal planar surface proximate to said foam body and an external planar surface opposite said foam body, a first coating disposed on said external surface, and a second coating disposed on or proximate to said internal surface, where said first coating disposed on said external surface includes an inert filler, and where said second coating disposed on or proximate to said internal surface includes intumescent material.
SYSTEM, METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR GYPSUM BOARD WITH EMBEDDED STRUCTURE HAVING OPEN CELLS THAT ARE SUBSTANTIALLY FILLED
A gypsum panel has a gypsum body with a length L along an x-axis, a width W along a y-axis, and a thickness T along a z-axis. The gypsum body includes at least one core embedded at least partially within the gypsum body. Examples of the core include a hollow, open cell structure having walled elements. The walled elements have axes that can be substantially parallel to each other and the z-axis. The walled elements may be substantially filled with a same material as the gypsum body.
THREE LAYER TEST TUBE AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
A two layer and/or a three-layer device is disclosed that allows samples therein to remain at a warmer or a colder temperature than would be ordinarily possible without the use of the two or three-layer device. The two-layer device contains an interior layer that comprises the sample, and a middle or intermediate layer that comprises chemical species that undergoes an exothermic or endothermic reaction. The three layer device further has an outer layer that contains an insulating layer. When the three layer device is used for samples, the temperature of the sample can remain at a temperature around 11° C. or less for at least about 5.5 to 6 hours.
CONVERSION OF GYPSUM WASTE INTO FOAMED CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL
Techniques of forming a foamed insulation material from gypsum waste are disclosed herein. One example technique includes mechanically comminuting the gypsum waste from an original size into particles of gypsum at a target size smaller than the original size and mixing the particles of the gypsum with a binder to form a mixture of particles and binder. The binder is configured to bind the particles of gypsum upon hydration. The example technique can further include performing air entrainment on the mixture until a foam is formed from the mixture having the particles of gypsum and binder. The foam has water that causes the binder to bind the particles of gypsum. The example technique can then include removing moisture from the mixture with the formed foam to form a foamed insulation material from the particles of gypsum.
THERMOPLASTIC ROOFING MEMBRANES FOR FULLY-ADHERED ROOFING SYSTEMS
A thermoplastic roofing membrane comprising a planar-shaped thermoplastic body, said planar body having opposed first and second external planar surfaces, where said first surface includes an ethylene-based olefinic block copolymer and a fatty acid amide, where the amount of fatty acid amide provides the surface with a coefficient of friction (ASTM D 1894) of less than 0.250.
CLADDING PANEL
A panel for covering a substrate including: a body having a first connecting profile and a second connecting profile, and a mesh, the first connecting profile and the second connecting profile being complementarily shaped in such a way that adjacent panels are coupled to one another via the first connecting profile and the second connecting profile, each of the first connecting profile and the second connecting profile comprising a pocket and a flange, the pocket of the first connecting profile being shaped for receiving the flange of the second connecting profile and the pocket of the second connecting profile being shaped for receiving the flange of the first connecting profile, wherein the mesh overhangs both the pocket of the first connecting profile and the pocket of the second connecting profile, said mesh overhangs configured for attachment of the panel to the substrate.
