A moisture-curable polyurethane hot melt adhesive composition having good oleic acid resistance, especially when exposed to 100% pure oleic acid under aging condition of 65° C. and 90% relative humidity, wherein the adhesive composition comprises, consists essentially of or consists of a moisture-curable polyurethane prepolymer, the prepolymer being a reaction product of at least one amorphous polyester polyol containing an aromatic group and at least one polyisocyanate, preferably at least one polyisocyanate containing an aromatic group, wherein the aromatic group is comprised in the polyurethane prepolymer in a content of no less than 23 wt. %, preferably no less than 25 wt. %, more preferably no less than 30 wt. %.

Provided is a light weight and remarkably flexible sheet-shaped radio wave absorber having excellent radio wave absorbing capacity in milliwave band frequencies. The invention is a milliwave band radio wave absorption sheet comprising a radio wave reflection layer (A), a radio wave absorption layer (B) disposed above the layer (A) so as to be parallel thereto, and a protective layer (C) disposed above the layer (B) so as to be parallel thereto. The layer (B) has, at a frequency of 79 GHz, a dielectric constant, wherein the real part is 10 to 20 and the absolute value of the imaginary part is 4 to 10. The layer (B) has a film thickness of 200 to 400 μm. The absolute value of the imaginary part/real part from the dielectric constant is within a range of 0.30 to 0.60. The layer (C) has, at a frequency of 79 GHz, a dielectric constant, wherein the real part is 1.5 to 8.0 and the absolute value of the imaginary part is less than 1.0, and has a film thickness of 50 to 200 μm. In the milliwave band radio wave absorption sheet, the optical reflectance at an incident angle of 60° is 50% or greater, and the optical reflectance at an incident angle of 20° is 25% or greater. In addition, the invention provides a milliwave band radio wave absorption method using the radio wave absorption sheet, and a radio wave damage prevention method involving the installation of the radio wave absorption sheet.

This invention relates to a process for reducing or eliminating organoleptic degradation in organoleptically sensitive foods packaged in flexible packaging, and packaged products thereof. This invention also relates to organoleptic flexible packaging made from polymeric films comprising oxidation-stable and non-migratory polysiloxane as slip additive. The oxidative-stability and non-migratory nature of the polysiloxane slip additive provides an organoleptic flexible packaging that is non-interactive with and inert to the organoleptically sensitive food packaged within, specifically: (1) coffee; (2) beer; (3) water; and (4) wine.

A description is given of a method of making film laminates using a lamination adhesive comprising (a) at least one acrylic polymer A with anhydride groups which are reactive with primary or secondary amine groups; and (b) at least one compound B with at least two amine groups selected from primary and secondary amine groups. The acrylic polymer A has a molecular weight of from 3000 to 50000 and the lamination adhesive is free of organic solvents, free of water and free of compounds with isocyanate groups.

There is provided a pressure sensitive adhesive composition comprising a polyurethane polymer that comprises the reaction product of a polyisocyanate component and a polyol component. The polyol component has a hydrophilic-lipophilic balance (HLB) less than 10. The polyurethane further comprises 0.5 to 10 wt.-% of hydrophilic polymerized units having an HLB greater than 12, such as a reaction product of a polyethylene glycol polymer. In another embodiment, the polyurethane further comprises pendent ethylenically unsaturated groups. Also described are articles such as laminating tapes and protective films as well as methods of bonding substrates with the pressure sensitive adhesive and laminating tape.

A multilayered, flexible, and generally flat pouch for transporting and dispensing chocolate, including first and second elongated generally rectangular multilayered portions sealed together to yield a deformable generally rectangular fluid-tight sachet defining an internal volume and separating the internal volume from an external environment. The sachet further defines a top end, an oppositely disposed bottom end, and first and second sides extending therebetween. An untempered chocolate portion is contained within the internal volume. A tear notch is formed through at least one side and disposed adjacent the top end and a weakened tear strip extends between the second side and the bottom end. The sachet is substantially fluid-tight, and first and second elongated generally rectangular multilayered portions each further comprise an outer layer, an inner high-slip layer, a printable binding layer disposed between the inner and outer layers, and a metal vapor barrier layer disposed between the inner and outer layers. When actuated, the first weakened tear strip produces a corner pour spout through which molten chocolate may be extracted from the sachet. When actuated, the second weakened tear strip produces a central aperture through which molten chocolate may be extracted from the sachet.
