LOW-SHEDDING ARAMID PAPER CONTAINING MICA
An aramid paper suitable for use as electrical insulation comprising a first outer layer and a second outer layer, each of which comprising 70 to 30 weight percent aramid floc and 30 to 70 weight percent aramid fibrids, and each of which being free of mica and having a first face and a second face; an inner layer comprising 50 to 70 weight percent aramid material and 30 to 50 weight percent mica and having a first face and a second face; wherein the first face of the first outer layer is a first outer face of the aramid paper, and the second face of the first outer layer is coextensive with and bound face-to-face with the first face of the inner layer solely by fibrids in the first outer layer and the inner layer; and wherein the first face of the second outer layer is coextensive with and bound face-to-face with the second face of the inner layer solely by fibrids in the second outer layer and the inner layer, and the second face of the second outer layer is a second outer face of the aramid paper; the aramid paper having a total of 25 to 40 weight percent mica.
Method for mitigating passive intermodulation
Materials and methods for mitigating passive intermodulation. A membrane for reducing passive intermodulation includes a first polymeric layer, a second polymeric layer, and a continuous metal layer encapsulated between the first and second polymeric layers. A self-adhesive radio frequency barrier tape includes a waterproof polymeric top layer, a metal-containing layer adhered by an adhesive layer to the polymeric top layer, a pressure sensitive adhesive layer adhered to the metal-containing layer, and a release liner on a bottom surface of the pressure sensitive adhesive layer. A method of mitigating passive intermodulation includes passing a probe over an area of interest, the probe being sensitive to an intermodulation frequency of interest, and identifying a suspected source of passive intermodulation when the amplitude of the probe output exceeds a threshold at the frequency of interest. The method further includes covering the suspected passive intermodulation source with a radio frequency barrier material.
ENERGY DISSIPATIVE TUBES, ARC-TRAPPING BUSHINGS, AND KITS, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS INCORPORATING THE SAME
One aspect of the invention provides a system including: a length of energy-dissipative tubing; a first sealing device coupled to a first end of the length of energy-dissipative tubing; and a second sealing device coupled to a second end of the length of energy-dissipative tubing. Exposure to one or more selected from the group consisting of: fault currents or lightning strikes at an exposure point along the length of energy-dissipative tubing will produce arcs at the exposure point and at least one of the first end and the second end.
Wrapper for foodstuffs
Apparatuses, systems, and methods are presented for a wrapper for foodstuffs. An elastomeric layer is flexible and substantially planar. A metallic layer is malleable and substantially planar. An adhesive couples the metallic layer to at least a perimeter of the elastomeric layer so that the elastomeric layer, the metallic layer, and the adhesive comprise a food covering for a container and the metallic layer is configured to conform around an edge of the container.
MACRO-MOLECULAR LEAKAGE-FREE SELF-ADHERING ALUMINUM FOIL AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
A macro-molecular leakage-free self-adhering aluminum foil has two layers of aluminum foil compounded using a PET film, and the other surfaces of each layer coated with a modified PE adhesive layer respectively; or air gaps in one surface or two surfaces are filled with nano-aluminum to form a permeable air gap-free surface. The foil has advantages: 1, high folding resistance, fatigue resistance and strength 2, wrapping self-adhering performance is good, and stripping strength formed after adhesion is several times as high as that of the prior art; 3, air gaps in the surface of the aluminum foil filled with nano-aluminum powder result in improved compactness; manufacture from low-grade aluminum foil, and so that rolling precision requirements are lowered, and manufacturing cost reduced; 4, insulating strength is high, shielding effect is good, the return loss phenomenon is avoided, and tensile strength is good.
RESIN COMPOSITION, PREPREG, METAL FOIL-CLAD LAMINATE, RESIN SHEET, AND PRINTED WIRING BOARD
The present invention provides a resin composition comprising a cyanate compound (A); and an epoxy resin (B) represented by general formula (1):
##STR00001##
wherein a plurality of R each independently represent any of a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, and an alkoxy group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms.
Flexible flat cable, manufacturing method thereof and signal transmission device
A flexible flat cable (FFC) includes a first insulation layer, at least one pair of conductors, a plurality of low-k dielectric layers, two second insulation layers, and at least one shielding layer. The pair of conductors is located within the first insulation layer. Each pair of conductors includes a plurality of first conductors, and the first conductors are axially extending and arranged in parallel. The low-k dielectric layers are embedded in the first insulation layer. Each of the pair of conductors or each of the first conductors is covered and surrounded with one low-k dielectric layer. The two second insulation layers are located on two surfaces of the first insulation layer. The shielding layer is located on the two second insulation layers opposite to the first insulation layer.
