A window module including a window, a first print layer, an ink layer, and a protective layer covering the ink layer. The protective layer includes a polymer resin polymerized from monomers including a first monomer which is an acrylic monomer substituted with a hydroxy group, a second monomer having an epoxy group, and at least one of a third monomer having a substituted or unsubstituted phenyl group or a fourth monomer which is an acrylic monomer having a substituted or unsubstituted bicyclic alkyl group, and thus, has excellent durability, chemical resistance, and abrasion resistance.
Curable silicone optically clear adhesives and uses thereof
Silicone optically clear adhesives compositions and films with pressure sensitive properties are described. The silicone optically clear adhesives compositions are thermal, UV curable, or UV-moisture dual curable. The silicone optically clear adhesives are suitable for sealing and bonding cover glasses, touch panels, diffusers, rigid compensators, heaters, and flexible films, polarizers and retarders in the optical display devices, and are particularly suitable in flexible and foldable displays.
Transparent resin substrate
A transparent resin substrate composed of a light-transmitting resin base sheet, and an underlying layer, a hard coat layer, and an antireflection coating formed sequentially on the base sheet. The antireflection coating includes a medium refractive index layer on the hard coat layer, and a low refractive index layer on the medium refractive index layer. The underlying layer is a cured product of a hexa- or higher functional urethane acrylate monomer. The hard coat layer is a cured product of a hard coat layer composition containing a polymerizable monomer containing 50% by mass or more of a tri- or lower functional urethane acrylate monomer, silica particles, a silane coupling agent, and a metal chelate compound. The medium refractive index layer is a cured product of a medium refractive index layer composition. The low refractive index layer is a particle-free cured product of a low refractive index layer composition.
DISPLAY DEVICES AND ARTICLES WITH COLOR-MATCHED DISPLAY AND NON-DISPLAY AREAS
A display device that includes: a glass substrate comprising a refractive index (n.sub.substrate); a display device structure coupled to the substrate to collectively define a viewing area; and a black mask structure surrounding the display device structure that is coupled to the substrate and comprises a black ink layer and at least one glossy layer between the black ink layer and the glass substrate. The viewing area is characterized by (a) a reflectance from 0.5% to 2.5% as measured at 8 degrees from normal in the visible spectrum, (b) a brightness in the CIE colorimetry system such that 5<L*<17 for the specular component included (SCI), and (c) a brightness in the CIE colorimetry system such that 0<L*<3 for the specular component excluded (SCE). Further, the at least one glossy layer comprises a refractive index (n.sub.glossy) such that |n.sub.glossy−n.sub.substrate|>0.1.
CURABLE REACTIVE SILICONE COMPOSITION, CURED PRODUCT THEREOF AND USES OF COMPOSITION AND CURED PRODUCT
Provided is: a curing reactive silicone composition having sufficient toughness and pressure sensitive adhesive strength to temporarily secure various substrate even in an uncured state, having heat meltability and excellent moldability of a sheet or the like, and that can be quickly cured by high energy irradiation to achieve high adhesive strength; a method of manufacturing a sheet thereof a cured product thereof that can achieve high adhesive strength by crimping; and applications thereof. The curing reactive silicone composition comprises: (A) an MQ resin; (B) a chain organopolysiloxane having at least two groups containing an aliphatic unsaturated carbon-carbon bond, and a degree of siloxane polymerization within a range of 80 to 3000; (C) an organohydrogenpolysiloxane; and (D) a hydrosilylation reaction catalyst activated by a high energy beam. The amount of component (A) is more than 55 mass % and less than 90 mass % of the sum of components (A) to (C).
Method for producing multilayer film
Embodiments provide a method for producing a multilayer film, the method including: (A) a step for continuously coextruding from a T die (3) a molten film (4) of a multilayer film in which a first acrylic resin layer (α1), an aromatic polycarbonate resin layer (β), and a second acrylic resin layer (α2) are directly laminated in the stated order using a coextrusion apparatus; (B) a step for feeding and pressing the molten film of the multilayer film between a first mirror surface body (5) that rotates or revolves and a second mirror surface body (6) that rotates or revolves so that the first acrylic resin layer (α1) is disposed on the first-mirror-surface-body side; and (C) a step for holding the pressed multilayer film against the first mirror surface body and sends the pressed multilayer film to the subsequent third mirror surface body (8) that rotates or revolves, where TR1 (surface temperature of first mirror surface body), TR2 (surface temperature of second mirror surface body), Tα1 (glass transition temperature of first acrylic resin), Tα2 (glass transition temperature of second acrylic resin), and Tβ (glass transition temperature of aromatic polycarbonate resin) satisfy a prescribed relationship.

A dam forming method and a method for manufacturing a laminate capable of suppressing the occurrence of a height difference in the thickness of a dam. A dam forming method is used in a method for manufacturing a laminate in which a first base member and a second base member are laminated via a fill material, including: forming a dam surrounding an application region for the fill material on the first base member; and applying the fill material to the application region. The dam forming method includes: applying a dam-forming resin composition on peripheral edges of the first base member by accelerating the application speed of the dam-forming resin composition continuously or stepwise from the start to the end of the application; and curing the applied dam-forming resin composition.

A display device includes a display panel including first and second unfolding areas, and a folding area therebetween, a first support member and a second support member disposed on a back surface of the display panel and spaced apart from each other with the folding area therebetween, a first barrier sheet partially fixed to a back surface of the first support member and extending to a back surface of the second support member, and a second barrier sheet partially fixed to the back surface of the second support member, extending to the back surface of the first support member, and covering the first barrier sheet. Each of the first barrier sheet and the second barrier sheet overlaps the first support member, the folding area, and the second support member, and the first barrier sheet is accommodated in a space between the second barrier sheet and the second support member.

TRANSPARENT ELECTROCONDUCTIVE LAYER-EQUIPPED COVER ELEMENT PROVIDED WITH TRANSPARENT PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE LAYER
The present invention provides a transparent electroconductive layer-equipped cover element having a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet preliminarily laminated thereto, wherein the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet comprises a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer in which a refractive index adjustment zone having a refractive index greater than that of a base pressure-sensitive adhesive material thereof is formed over a given range from a surface of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer in a thickness direction thereof, whereby: in a lamination process of a customer which is a supply destination of the transparent electroconductive layer-equipped cover element, it becomes possible to eliminate a need to distinguish between obverse and reverse sides of the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet itself; and, when the transparent electroconductive layer-equipped cover element is bonded to an optical element through the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, it becomes possible to suppress internal reflection in a laminate formed of these optical elements.
