FILM ATTACHING APPARATUS FOR ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCLUDING DISPLAY
The disclosure relates to a device (e.g., a jig) for attaching a protective film for protecting a display included in a foldable electronic device from impact and scratching. A film attaching apparatus for attaching a film to an electronic device is provided. The film attaching apparatus includes a display, wherein the film attaching apparatus may include a main body including a base plate, a jig disposed on a base plate and configured to seat the electronic device thereon, a film suction-fixing part inclined at a predetermined angle with respect to the jig, and a roller module disposed on the base plate and including a roller slidable above the jig, wherein the film suction-fixing part may include two or more divided suction areas which are sequentially arranged to correspond to a moving direction of the roller module and configured to have different suction forces.
Disposable wearable article
A disposable wearable article includes an elastic film stretchable structure in which an elastic film is laminated between a first sheet layer and a second sheet layer. The first sheet layer and the second sheet layer are bonded to each other through holes passing through the elastic film with many bonded portions arranged at intervals. A region having the elastic film stretchable structure includes a stretchable region that elastically stretches and contracts together with the elastic film. The stretchable region includes a plurality of elastic films disposed so as to have an overlapping portion. The number of laminated layers of the elastic film in a region located in an intermediate portion of the stretchable region in an orthogonal direction (XD) orthogonal to a stretchable direction (ED) is different from that in each of second regions adjacent to both sides of the first region.
WINDOW TRANSFER METHOD AND WINDOW MANUFACTURING METHOD USING THE SAME
A window transfer method and a window manufacturing method using a window transfer method are provided. A window transfer method includes preparing a stage, transferring the stage over a loading part on which a window layer is loaded, transferring the stage to be adjacent to an upper surface of the window layer and to allow a plurality of protrusion parts attached to side surfaces of the stage to press a slip sheet layer arranged under the window layer and exposed outside the window layer, and suctioning the window layer to a lower surface of the stage to separate the window layer from the slip sheet layer.
UV protective surfacing materials for composite parts
A surfacing material that is capable of ultraviolet (UV) protection. The surfacing material is a multilayer structure composed of a woven peel ply fabric interposed between a first curable resin layer and a second curable resin layer. The surfacing material is designed to be co-cured with a composite substrate, for example, a prepreg layup. Upon curing, the peel ply fabric combined with the outer thermoset layer function as a UV protective layer. When the peel ply fabric and the outer thermoset layer are removed, a paint-ready surface is revealed. Such surface does not require any surface preparation prior to painting.
LAMINATE STRUCTURE
A laminate structure is disclosed including a fibre laminate impregnated with a laminate matrix material, and a veil of carbon nanotubes impregnated with a veil matrix material. The laminate matrix material and the veil matrix material doped with carbon particles. The veil provides lightning strike protection. The structure is manufactured by co-curing the laminate matrix material and the veil matrix material to bond the veil of carbon nanotubes to the fibre laminate.
Code-shield label
A label including a first strip including a first end and a second end opposite the first end. The first strip includes an opaque material. The first strip further includes a first area proximate the first end. The first area includes a first length along a longitudinal axis common to the first strip. The label also includes a second strip including a third end and a fourth end opposite the third end, wherein the second strip includes a transparent material. The second strip is laminated over the first strip such that the third end is disposed outside the first area. The fourth end extends beyond the second end a distance at least equal to the first length.
Compression tool and method of forming gas turbine engine components
An assembly for forming a gas turbine engine according to an example of the present disclosure includes, among other things, a layup tool including a main body extending along a longitudinal axis and a flange extending radially from the main body, the flange defining an edge face slopes towards the main body to an axial face. At least one compression tool has a tool body having a first tool section and a second tool section extending transversely from the first tool section. The first tool section is translatable along a retention member in a first direction substantially perpendicular to the edge face such that relative movement causes the second tool section to apply a first compressive force on a composite article trapped between the axial face of the flange and the second tool section. A method of forming a gas turbine engine component is also disclosed.
Structural body of a vehicle having an energy absorbing device and a method of forming the energy absorbing device
In an embodiment, an energy-absorbing device can comprise: a polymer reinforcement structure, wherein the polymer reinforcement structure comprises a polymer matrix and chopped fibers; and a shell comprising 2 walls extending from a back and forming a shell channel, wherein the shell comprises continuous fibers and a resin matrix; wherein the polymer reinforcement structure is located in the shell channel.
Composite flexible coupling
A flexible coupling for transmitting torque between parts of a transmission shaft system comprises a tubular section of continuous-fibre-reinforced composite material which has been modified to form a living hinge section with reduced bending stiffness to allow flexion of the tubular section. The tubular section may be modified through the provision of a pattern of formations within the living hinge section. The formations may be in the form of apertures and/or recesses in the continuous-fibre-reinforced composite material to create a plurality of living hinges in the material between, in particular slots and/or grooves.
ORIENTED POLYETHYLENE FILMS AND ARTICLES COMPRISING THE SAME
The present invention relates to oriented, multilayer polyethylene films. In one aspect, a biaxially oriented, multilayer polyethylene film comprises at least one layer comprising: (1) a polyethylene-based composition that comprises: (a) at least 97% by weight, based on the total weight of the polyethylene-based composition, of a polyethylene composition comprising: (i) from 25 to 37 percent by weight of a first polyethylene fraction having a density in the range of 0.935 to 0.947 g/cm.sup.3 and a melt index (I.sub.2) of less than 0.1 g/10 minutes; and (ii) from 63 to 75 percent by weight of a second polyethylene fraction; wherein the polyethylene composition has less than 0.10 branches per 1,000 carbon atoms when measured using .sup.13C NMR, wherein the density of the polyethylene-based composition is at least 0.965 g/cm.sup.3, and wherein the melt index (I.sub.2) of the polyethylene-based composition is 0.5 to 10 g/10 minutes.
