STRETCHABLE TEXTILE ARTICLE
A stretchable textile article (20) comprises a plurality of discrete textile members (22,24), each textile member (22,24) extending between a first end (26) and a second end (28), the first ends (26) of the textile members (22,24) being joined together, the econd ends (28) of the textile members (22,24) being joined together, each textile member (22,24) including a textile zone configured to have a variable stretch property in an orientation extending between the joined first ends (26) and the joined second ends (28).
PLEATABLE NONWOVEN
The disclosure relates to a pleatable nonwoven fabric including greater than 50% by weight of a majority polymer component, based on total weight of the fabric, and a minority polymer component, wherein there is a difference of at least 10° C. in melting point between the majority polymer component and the minority polymer component, and wherein the fabric is arranged in layers with a first layer, a second layer, and a mid-layer positioned between the first layer and the second layer, and wherein the top layer and the bottom layer comprise a plurality of bicomponent fibers comprising both the majority polymer component and the minority polymer component; and wherein the mid-layer comprises monocomponent fibers constructed from either the majority polymer component or the minority polymer component. A method of making the pleatable nonwoven fabric is also provided.
Patient securement system for the surgical Trendelenburg position
A patient securing overlay is provided that includes a sheet of fabric for supporting a patient's torso on a surgical table. The sheet of fabric has an upper surface configured to face the patient and a lower surface configured to face a surgical table mattress or underbody support. The sheet of fabric includes friction enhancing elements applied to at least a portion of the upper surface thereof. The sheet of fabric can include an extension at a foot end of the sheet of fabric that provides material to be tucked under a foot end of the surgical table mattress or underbody support for securing the foot end of the sheet of fabric to the surgical table mattress or underbody support. The extension can include one or more friction enhancing elements.

The present invention relates to fiber composite plastic (11, 13) comprising a polymer (40, 41) and at least one textile (50), which has at least one palpably inhomogeneous surface (60, 61) with a textile structure and is entirely surrounded by polymer (40, 41), wherein the fiber composite plastic (11, 13) has at least one palpably inhomogeneous surface (60, 61), wherein inhomogeneities of this fiber composite plastic surface are caused by the textile structure, and a method for producing the fiber composite plastic (11, 13).
INTERIOR TRIM FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE, COMPRISING A HEADLINER AND A STIFFENING FRAME AND METHOD FOR THEIR MANUFACTURE
The disclosure provides an interior trim part for a motor vehicle having a sliding or panoramic roof comprising a headliner and a stiffening frame attached to the headliner and enclosing and stabilizing an opening in the headliner enclosing the sliding or panoramic window, the stiffening frame being made of a fiber-reinforced composite material comprising a fiber mat and a textile lattice material, the textile lattice material being applied over a surface of the fiber mat and impregnated together therewith.
Method of manufacturing a film having low oxygen transmission rate values
A method of manufacturing a film having an oxygen transmission rate (OTR) value in the range of 0.1 to 200 cc/m.sup.2*24 h at 23° C., 50% relative humidity (RH), and an OTR value in the range of 0.1 to 2000 cc/m.sup.2*24 h at 38° C. at 85% RH, comprising at least 60% by weight nanocellulose based on the weight of the total amount of fibers in the film, wherein the method comprises the steps of, providing an aqueous suspension comprising said nanocellulose; forming a web from said aqueous suspension; calendering said web at a line load of at least 40 kN/m, and at a temperature of at least 60° C. wherein said film is formed and said web has an OTR value in the range of 50 to 10 000 cc/m.sup.2*24 h at 23° C., 50% RH before said calendering step, or more preferably in the range of 500 to 5000 cc/m.sup.2*24 h at 23° C., 50% RH before said calendering step.

A method of manufacturing a film having an oxygen transmission rate (OTR) value in the range of 0.1 to 200 cc/m.sup.2*24 h at 23° C., 50% relative humidity (RH), and an OTR value in the range of 0.1 to 2000 cc/m.sup.2*24 h at 38° C. at 85% RH, comprising at least 60% by weight nanocellulose based on the weight of the total amount of fibers in the film, wherein the method comprises the steps of, providing an aqueous suspension comprising said nanocellulose; forming a web from said aqueous suspension; calendering said web at a line load of at least 40 kN/m, and at a temperature of at least 60° C. wherein said film is formed and said web has an OTR value in the range of 50 to 10 000 cc/m.sup.2*24 h at 23° C., 50% RH before said calendering step, or more preferably in the range of 500 to 5000 cc/m.sup.2*24 h at 23° C., 50% RH before said calendering step.
PLANAR COMPOSITE MATERIAL
A sheetlike composite material including at least one layer A of a nonwoven thermoplastic fiber web or a thermoplastic film, and at least two unidirectional oriented-fiber layers B and B′, the layers B and B′ having a bidirectional fiber orientation. The layers are not only needled but also stitched to one another.

NONWOVEN FABRIC AND PROCESS FOR FORMING THE SAME
The present invention relates to a nonwoven fabric comprising a plurality of polypropylene-containing fibers that form a nonwoven web, which fibers in addition contain a slip agent, the web has a side which is provided with an alternating pattern which consists of individualized bonded areas which bonded areas are in the form of rods which are arranged in the cross direction of the web, the alternating pattern of individualized bonded areas defines a non-bonded area, the web has a basis weight on the range of from 5-25 g/m.sup.2, the surface of the bonded areas is in the range of 5-20% of the total surface of the side, and the surface of the non-bonded area is in the range of 80-95% of the total surface of the side. The present invention further relates to a process for forming the nonwoven fabric.
