Composite structures with embedded electrical grids
A composite structure of a cargo body and a method of making the same are disclosed. The composite structure includes at least one electrical grid embedded within fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) layers. The embedded electrical grid includes a plurality of conductive fibers and a plurality of insulating fibers integrated into a polymer matrix of the FRP layers. The embedded electrical grid may be used for power distribution, structural strengthening and stiffness, and/or puncture detection.
FIRE BARRIER FOR WALL SHEATHING MATERIALS
A sheathing material includes a layer of ceramic paper to help prevent the burning of the sheathing during a fire. The material may include insulation disposed between the ceramic paper and the substrate to further reduce damage to the substrate, and may include a thin layer of wood or paper placed over the ceramic paper to protect the ceramic paper and to allow the sheathing to be used in a manner similar to that of a conventional sheathing material.

SEALING SHEET AND ADHESIVE TAPE FOR WET ROOMS
A sealing for arrangement between a wall and a wall covering includes a sealing sheet and an adhesive tape. The sealing sheet and the adhesive tape each have a carrier layer of a preferably closed-cell foam plastic. Furthermore, the sealing sheet can bear a nonwoven fabric preferably on the wall-facing side, wherein border strips remain free of the nonwoven fabric for underlapping with an adhesive tape.
VARNISH FOR POROUS POLYIMIDE FILM PRODUCTION AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING POROUS POLYIMIDE FILM USING SAME
Provided are a varnish for porous polyimide film production, providing an unburned composite film that is less likely to have a sea-island structure, and a method for producing a porous polyimide film using the same. The varnish according to the present invention comprises a resin including polyamide acid and/or polyimide, fine particles, and a solvent, and has a fine particle content of not less than 65% by volume relative to the total of the resin and the fine particles and a viscosity at 25° C. of not less than 550 mPa.Math.s. Preferably, the varnish further comprises a dispersant. The method for producing a porous polyimide film according to the present invention comprises: forming an unburned composite film using the varnish; burning the unburned composite film to obtain a polyimide-fine particle composite film; and removing the fine particles from the polyimide-fine particle composite film.
OPTICAL ADHESIVE SHEET
The present invention relates to an optical adhesive sheet having an excellent repulsion resistance and an excellent swelling rate, and a method for manufacturing the same.
DISPLAY DEVICE
A display device includes a panel, a backlight, and an adhesive tape. The backlight is placed under the panel. The adhesive tape has a light blocking property and is bonded to an end face of the panel and the backlight.
CLEANING PAD FOR ELECTRONIC DEVICES
A cleaning pad for electronic devices includes a first layer and a second layer. The first layer has a top surface and a bottom surface. The second layer has a top surface and a bottom surface removably attached to the top surface of the first layer. The bottom surface of the second layer includes an interior portion fabricated from a cleaning material for cleaning a display of an electronic device, and an exterior portion surrounding the interior portion and fabricated from an adhesive material. The interior portion of the bottom surface of the second layer is sealed between the exterior portion of the bottom surface of the second layer and the top surface of the first layer.
