The hook element (38) is rotatably attached to a door (30) of the platen press (16) by a fixation axle for switching between a releasing position and a securing position of the hook element, wherein the top part retains the compensating plate (28) in its makeready position when the hook element (38) is in its securing position.

Ink film constructions

An ink film construction consisting: (a) a printing substrate; and (b) at least one ink film, fixedly adhered to a top surface of the printing substrate, the ink film having an upper film surface distal to the top surface of the substrate, wherein a surface concentration of nitrogen at the upper film surface exceeds a bulk concentration of nitrogen within the film, the bulk concentration measured at a depth of at least 30 nanometers below the upper film surface, and wherein a ratio of the surface concentration to the bulk concentration is at least 1.1 to 1.

PATTERN TRANSFER SHEET, METHOD OF MONITORING PATTERN TRANSFER PRINTING, AND PATTERN TRANSFER PRINTING SYSTEM

Pattern transfer sheets, methods of monitoring pattern transfer printing, and pattern transfer printing systems are provided, for monitoring and adjusting laser illumination used for transferring paste patterns from trenches on the sheets onto a substrate such as electronic circuitry and/or solar cell substrates. Pattern transfer sheets comprise, outside the pattern, (i) trace mark(s) configured to receive the printing paste, aligned to the trenches and are wider than the width of the illuminating laser beam—to detect misalignment of paste release from within the trace mark(s) and/or (ii) working window marks configured to receive the printing paste, set at specified offsets with respect to specific trenches, with different working window marks set at different offsets—to correct the effective working window by adjusting the power of the laser beam.

DYE SUBLIMATION APPARATUS WITH A MULTI-ZONE INDEPENDENT HEATER CONTROL
20230001728 · 2023-01-05 ·

An illustrative dye sublimation apparatus may include a heating surface that may have multiple zones. Each zone may include a single individually controlled heater. A controller may control the heater to generate a range of heat and not merely turn the heater ON and OFF. Therefore, one or more controllers may individually regulate heat from corresponding heaters in the zones thereby maintaining a constant and nearly constant temperature throughout the bed of the dye sublimation apparatus in the heating surface. Furthermore, one or more controllers may maintain a first range of temperature during a first state of a dye sublimation process and a second range of temperature during a second stage of the dye sublimation process.

CARTRIDGE FOR FOIL TRANSFER DEVICE AND HOLDER
20220413429 · 2022-12-29 · ·

A cartridge is attachable to and detachable from a housing main body of a foil transfer device that disposes a multilayer film including a plurality of layers on a sheet and transfers at least one layer of the multilayer film onto the sheet. The cartridge includes a feed reel around which the multilayer film is rolled and that is configured to rotate about a first axis extending in an axial direction of the feed reel, a reel gear that is located at an end portion of the feed reel in the axial direction and that is configured to rotate together with the feed reel, an output gear that transmits a rotational force applied to the feed reel to outside of the cartridge, and an intermediate gear that reduces rotation speed of the reel gear and transmits the rotation of the reel gear to the output gear.

THERMAL TRANSFER DEVICE WITH COMMUNICATION FUNCTION AND MANAGING SYSTEM THEREOF
20230033462 · 2023-02-02 ·

The present invention relates to a thermal transfer device, and more particularly, to a thermal transfer device with a communication function and a management system thereof which can transfer state information and/or failure information of the thermal transfer device via the communication function, manage the received state information and failure information, and provide them to a user. The thermal transfer device according to the present invention comprises a driving unit provided with at least one motor to perform a conveying or blowing function under the control of a control unit, a heating unit provided with at least one heater to perform a heating operation under the control of the control unit, a communication unit for accessing the network, and the control unit for controlling the driving unit and the heating unit to perform a thermal transfer function and transferring state information related to the operation of the thermal transfer device to a management server through the communication unit.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AN IN-LINE TEXTURE APPARATUS

An illustrative dye sublimation apparatus may include a texture sheet with a pattern to be applied to a substrate. More specifically, the texture sheet is pressed into the substrate during the dye sublimation process in order to apply the pattern from the texture sheet while the substrate is heated and simultaneously being infused with an image from a printed sheet. The pressure applied to the texture sheet can vary, for example based on the temperature. Compared to the conventional systems in which substrates are pre-textured, the embodiments disclosed herein describe a process for simultaneous image-infusion and texture-application, which results in a substrate that is both infused and textured.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DYE SUBLIMINATION WITH DOUBLE-SIDED IMAGE INFUSION

An illustrative dye sublimation apparatus may include a pair of printed sheets placed on either side of a substrate that allows for image infusion on both sides of the substrate. A second heat source, such as a heated plate, is included in order to heat the second printed sheet. Compared to the conventional systems in which a single heat source heats a single printed, the embodiments disclosed herein describe a process for simultaneous double-sided image infusion, which results in a substrate with sublimated images on both sides.
