A hot stamping machine is provided, including a machine table, a processing platform, a hot stamping device and a license plate conveying device, wherein the hot stamping device includes an upper heating plate, a single-rod cylinder, a carbon ribbon and a carbon ribbon conveying mechanism; two groups of lifting mechanisms are used for driving lifting plates to move in the perpendicular direction, tops of two groups of grabbing devices are connected, and tin grabbing device moving mechanisms are used for driving the grabbing devices to move linearly between the two groups of lifting plates and the processing platform up and down and to the left and the right. Compared with an existing rolling hot stamping machine, the hot stamping machine does not require manual involvement in feeding and discharging, shortens the time for hot stamping one license plate by two-thirds, and has a high hot stamping efficiency.

The present invention is characterized in that a positioning element is disposed on an input end of a first unit imprinting element and a positioning element is disposed on an output end of each imprinting element. Two neighboring positioning elements accomplish the positioning between the two positioning elements together. By providing the fine tuning elements, the accuracy in the art of die cutting & hot stamping can be assured when the machine is performing a multiple-working-position procedure; whereas, by setting up the reference positioning, it assures that the standards of the front and rear positioning are consistent.

Marking is accomplished by heating the stamping element to a predetermined temperature via the heating element and information acquired from the temperature sensor, then bringing the embossed pattern in relation to the surface of the fiber-based product (e.g., via direct contact and compression or simply very close to the surface) to form at least one of a corresponding three-dimensional contour and charred surface region.

The driving device further comprises at least one first load-measurement device comprising a first detector configured to measure a parameter indicative of the load applied by the drive member for driving the foil-introduction chain-like elements in a first direction, the at least one first load-measurement device being connected to a stamping-machine control unit configured to stop the driving by the drive member when the parameter indicative of the load applied by the drive member and measured by the first detector crosses a threshold.

The control unit receives at least an actual temperature of the heating plate from the at least one temperature sensor and provides a manipulated variable to the at least one heating device. Further, the stamping machine includes a state observer for estimating an actual temperature of the stamping interface surface of the at least one stamping plate based on a physics-based analytical model of the heat transfer between the heating plate and the stamping plate. The control unit also includes a feedback controller for calculating the manipulated variable for a heating device based on the predefined desired temperature and the estimated actual temperature of the stamping interface surface provided by the state observer.
