Device, method and printing press for multiple printing of printing substrate sheets

The invention relates to a device for printing sheets of printing substrate (02), having a first printing nip (12) which is formed between a first cylinder (19; 19*) that acts as a transport cylinder (19; 19*) and a second cylinder (18), and in which the printing substrate sheets (02) can be printed on one or on both sides with one or more collected print image segments, and having a second printing nip (11) lying downstream in the printing substrate path, which printing nip is disposed at a level lying below the first printing nip (12) and is formed between a third cylinder (17) that acts as a transport cylinder (17) and a fourth cylinder (16), and in which the printing substrate sheets (02) can be printed on one or on both sides with one or more collected print image segments, wherein the printing substrate sheets (02) can be conveyed via at least one rotating transport means (33; 38; 39) along a transport path from the cylinder (19; 19*) that acts as a transport cylinder (19; 19*) of the first printing nip (12) to the cylinder (17) that acts as a transport cylinder (17) of the second printing nip (11), wherein on the transport path, downstream of the cylinder (19; 19*) that acts as a transport cylinder (19; 19*) of the first printing nip (12) and upstream of the cylinder (17) that acts as a transport cylinder (17) of the second printing nip (11), at least one first electrode (37; 41) directed toward the outer circumference of the at least one rotating transport means (33) is arranged in an angular segment lying in the transport path for the printing substrate sheets (02) in such a way that when an electric voltage is applied, a printing substrate sheet (02) being guided past the electrode (37; 41) can be electrostatically charged.

Printing press and method for producing printed products

A printing press has at least one printing unit that comprises one or more printing couples, by the use of which printing press, sheet-format substrate can be printed on at least one side in at least one printing nip. The printing press has at least one product receiving unit, in which the printed sheet-format substrate can be collected to form bundles of products or intermediate products. A rotatable cooling cylinder, for guiding or conveying the sheet-format substrate, is located upstream of the product receiving unit in the substrate path. At least one first electrode is arranged on, and is directed towards the substrate path section that runs over a circumferential section of the cooling cylinder. When an electric voltage is applied to the substrate path, substrate being guided along the substrate path past the electrode is or can be electrostatically charged.

SHEET-FED ROTARY PRINTING MACHINE COMPRISING AN ELECTRODE UNIT

Examples relate to a sheet-fed rotary printing machine including a coating unit, which includes an impression cylinder and a further cylinder forming a contact zone therewith. The coating unit comprises a charging device for electrostatically fixing sheets on the impression cylinder, which includes an electrode unit that is directed toward the outer cylindrical surface of the impression cylinder. A charging core zone includes a region of an outer cylinder surface of the impression cylinder that is located next to the electrode unit. The charging core zone is arranged downstream from the contact zone and upstream from a transfer point leading away from the impression cylinder. An electrode of the electrode unit has a minimum first distance with respect to the impression cylinder of between 4 mm and 13 mm and a minimum second distance with respect to the further cylinder of between 4 mm and n 35 mm.
