STORAGE HOLDERS INCLUDING ITEM RETAINERS FOR POSITIONING IN DIFFERENT POSITIONS ALONG A VERTICAL DIRECTION FOR HOLDING AND STORING DIFFERENT SIZED ITEMS, GAUGES FOR MEASURING AN AMOUNT OF AN ITEM REMAINING, AND RELATED METHODS
Storage holders including item retainers for positioning in different positions a vertical direction for holding and storing different sized items, gauges for measuring an amount of an item remaining, and related methods are disclosed. According to an aspect, a storage holder includes a base member and a vertical member supported by the base member and that defines multiple apertures. The apertures are spaced apart in a vertical direction. The storage holder includes item retainers that are each configured to hold an upper portion of an item. Each item retainer can fit within an aperture of the vertical member and to hold onto the vertical member. While fitted in a respective aperture, each item retainer is moveable between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the retainer holds the upper portion in a stored position. A media gauge can be used to determine how much of an item is left.

DROP-ON-DEMAND CARD PRINTER WITH INK TRAY
A drop-on-demand plastic card printer includes a tray disposed underneath the plastic card during drop-on-demand printing to catch any overspray that may occur during printing on the plastic card. The tray may be disposable so that the tray is intended to be removed and disposed of. An ink absorbent pad can be disposed in the tray to absorb the oversprayed ink. The ink absorbent pad can be disposed of along with the tray or disposed of separately from the tray.

Transport apparatus and recording apparatus
A transport apparatus includes a mounting section on which a medium is to be mounted, a drive section configured to drive the mounting section in a moving direction and a protection section configured to be switched between a protection state for protecting the drive section and a release state for releasing protection of the drive section. The mounting section has a driven section that engages with the drive section and is driven by the drive section. When the driven section driven by the drive section engages with the drive section, the protection section is in the release state, and when the driven section does not engage with the drive section, the protection section is in the protection state.

PRINTER ADAPTERS FOR HOLDING FANFOLDS OF MEDIA AND SYSTEMS AND METHODS THEREOF
Described herein are novel printer adapters and systems and methods thereof that include techniques and structures for converting a desktop or compact printer configured to print onto rolls of media into a desktop or compact printer configured to print onto fanfolds of media. In other words, described herein are novel printer adapters and systems and methods thereof for converting a roll printer to a fanfold printer.
Media catchers
In an example, a media catcher may include a first frame member and a second frame member spaced away from the first frame member along a lateral direction, thereby defining a catcher width of the media catcher. Additionally, the media catcher may also include a device interface disposed at a top end of the first frame member or the second frame member. The device interface may attach the media catcher to an imaging device. The media catcher may further include a catch panel extending between the first frame member and the second frame member to catch and support media.

PROCESSING DEVICE AND RECORDING DEVICE
A recording device as a processing device includes: a recording unit accommodated in a housing and configured to perform recording on a medium; and a medium accommodating unit that accommodates the medium discharged from the housing. The medium accommodating unit includes: a sheet-shaped accommodating member; a rotating shaft provided inside the housing and to which one end of the accommodating member is connected; and an operating portion provided separably from the housing and to which the other end of the accommodating member is connected. The accommodating member is wound around the rotating shaft and accommodated inside the housing when the operating portion is mounted on the housing. The accommodating member is fed from the rotating shaft so that the medium is accommodated when the operating portion is separated from the housing.
