INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS
An information processing apparatus is used to determine a waveform of a drive pulse applied to a drive element provided in a liquid discharge head for discharging a liquid, by using results obtained by evaluating a first discharge characteristic and a second discharge characteristic of the liquid discharge head. The information processing apparatus includes a first reception unit that receives an input of first information for designating a voltage based on the evaluation result of the first discharge characteristic as a voltage of the drive pulse used to evaluate the second discharge characteristic, and a second reception unit that receives an input of second information for designating a voltage freely designated by a user, as the voltage of the drive pulse used to evaluate the second discharge characteristic.
Inkjet head
An inkjet head includes a pressure chamber storing ink, a nozzle communicating with the chamber, an actuator ejecting the ink through the nozzle by changing a volume of the chamber, and a circuit outputting a drive signal to the actuator with a drive waveform having a cycle based on a number of gradation levels being used for printing. When printing is performed using three or more gradation levels, the circuit outputs the signal that has a multi-drop drive waveform including two or more first waveforms for ejecting first to (n−1)-th droplets of the ink where n is equal to or greater than 3, a second waveform for ejecting an n-th droplet of the ink, and an intermediate time between the first waveform for ejecting the (n−1)-th droplet and the second waveform for ejecting the n-th droplet. The intermediate time is longer than a time between two adjacent first waveforms.

Liquid ejection device
A liquid ejection device includes a first head unit that includes a plurality of first ejection portions, a second head unit that includes a plurality of second ejection portions, a head controller that controls the first head unit and the second head unit, and a signal path via which determination information indicating whether or not a liquid ejection state of one first ejection portion among the plurality of first ejection portions is abnormal is transmitted from the first head unit to the second head unit without passing through the head controller.
Liquid Discharge Device
A liquid discharge device including a discharge head, a head drive circuit that outputs a first drive signal, and a second drive signal, and a coupling member includes a first wiring that propagates the first drive signal, a second wiring that propagates the second drive signal, a third wiring that propagates a reference voltage signal, and a base material provided with the first wiring, the second wiring, and the third wiring, in which the first wiring and the second wiring are provided on a first surface of the base material, the third wiring is provided on a second surface different from the first surface of the base material, and at least one of the first wiring and the second wiring is located so as to overlap with at least a part of the third wiring in a first direction along a direction from the first surface to the second surface.

There is provided a head unit including: a discharge section that includes a piezoelectric element driven by a first driving signal and discharges a liquid; a switching circuit that switches whether or not to supply the first driving signal; a first substrate that propagates the first driving signal and the discharge control signal to the switching circuit; a second substrate to which the first driving signal and the discharge control signal are supplied and which propagates the first driving signal and the discharge control signal to the first substrate; a first coupling member including a first conductive section that electrically couples the first substrate and the second substrate; and a second coupling member including a second conductive section that electrically couples the first substrate and the second substrate, in which a cross-sectional area of the first conductive section is larger than a cross-sectional area of the second conductive section.
Maintenance Method Of Liquid Discharging Apparatus
A maintenance method for a liquid discharging apparatus including a liquid discharging head. The liquid discharging apparatus executes a printing process including a discharging process in which the liquid discharged from the liquid discharging head lands on the medium, and a maintenance process in which the liquid is discarded from the liquid discharging head. The maintenance method includes: counting a unit period number, which is the number of ended unit periods among a plurality of unit periods obtained by dividing a period required for the printing process in accordance with a first condition; executing the maintenance process when the unit period number reaches a defined number; acquiring viscosity information related to viscosity of the liquid inside the liquid discharging head; and decreasing the unit period number when the viscosity information satisfies a second condition.
Liquid Ejection Apparatus
A liquid ejection apparatus is configured to control a supply of a drive signal to a drive element by a controller so that a target period is either an ejection period or a non-ejection period based on print data. The drive signal includes an ejection pulse and a non-ejection pulse. The controller: does not supply the non-ejection pulse to the drive element when the target period is the non-ejection period and an elapsed time length from the last ejection period is less than the predetermined time length, and supplies the non-ejection pulse to the drive element when the target period is the non-ejection period and the elapsed time length is equal to or longer than the predetermined time length. The predetermined time length is an integral multiple or more of ½ of a natural vibration cycle of a meniscus of a liquid in the nozzle.

A three-dimensional printing device includes a first head having a first nozzle array that ejects liquid, a second head having a second nozzle array that ejects liquid, and a moving mechanism having a linear motion mechanism that changes relative positions of the heads with respect to a three-dimensional workpiece. The first region of the workpiece is more inclined with respect to the first axis than the second region of the workpiece. A time period when the first nozzle array faces the first region and the second nozzle array faces the second region is a first time period. In the first time period, the first nozzle array ejects the liquid onto the first region in a first ejection cycle. In the first time period, the second nozzle array ejects the liquid onto the second region in a second ejection cycle. The first ejection cycle is shorter than the second ejection cycle.
