LIQUID EJECTION DEVICE
A liquid ejection device includes a head having a nozzle, an element causing the nozzle to eject liquid, a reservoir configured to store the liquid to be supplied to the nozzle, and a controller. The controller is configured to change a drive signal to drive the element based on a quantity of the liquid stored in the reservoir.
Printing fluid circulation
An example printing fluid circulation circuit for a printing system comprises a first circuit port to supply printing fluid to, or receive printing fluid from, a first fluid port of a printhead and a second circuit port to supply printing fluid to, or receive printing fluid from, a second fluid port of a printhead. The printing fluid circulation circuit is to operate in a first mode to concurrently supply printing fluid from the first reservoir to the first circuit port and from the second circuit port to a second reservoir, and in a second mode to concurrently supply printing fluid from the first reservoir to the second circuit port and from the first circuit port to the second reservoir.
AEROSOL-BASED PRINTING CARTRIDGE AND USE THEREOF IN APPARATUS AND METHOD OF USE THEREOF
An aerosol-based printing apparatus is provided capable of producing an aerosol stream at a constant rate and constant material deposition to a substrate to provide high-definition, high-resolution traces. The aerosol-based printing apparatus provides production, transport, and delivery of an aerosol stream at a constant rate for a period of time of at least 8 hours and other instances more than 24 continuous hours of constant operation. By inhibiting bulging and necking of the deposited trace, superior line width tolerances are achieved, and such tolerances are maintained for extended periods of time, thereby allowing for both the deposition of complex traces as well as consistent manufacture of duplicate articles that maintain the tolerances across a production ran. The accumulation of fluids in the aerosol and gas transport conduits are eliminated, thereby eliminating the need for purge or cleaning cycles and allowing for uninterrupted operation for a minimum of 24 hours.
Ejection-material ejection apparatus and imprinting apparatus
An ejection-material ejection apparatus and an imprinting apparatus are provided which are capable of quickly detecting damage of a flexible membrane and avoiding contact between an ejection material and an operating liquid even if part of the flexible membrane is damaged. The flexible membrane includes a first film (1) covering a first storing space (5) for the ejection material, a second film (2) covering a second storing space (6) for the operating liquid, and an inter-film space 4 situated between the first film (1) and the second film (2). A change in state of the inter-film space (4) resulting from communication between at least one of the first storing space (5) and the second storing space (6) and the inter-film space (4) is detected with a liquid sensor (41), a flow speed sensor (77), and a liquid leakage sensor (42).
Printing apparatus and liquid storage member
The printing apparatus of the present invention includes: a print head; and a liquid storage container in which a liquid storage chamber that stores a liquid to be supplied to the print head, an atmosphere communication chamber that communicates with the atmosphere, and a communication flow path that causes the liquid storage chamber and the atmosphere communication chamber to communicate are formed integrally. The liquid storage container can take a first posture in which the atmosphere communication chamber is located under the liquid storage chamber in the direction of gravity and a second posture in which the atmosphere communication chamber and the liquid storage chamber are located side by side in the horizontal direction. In the case where the liquid storage container is in the second posture, the liquid injection portion and the communication flow path are located on the upper side of the liquid storage container.
Rotary printing integrated ink box for seal printing
A rotary printing integrated ink box special for seal printing comprises an ink box body (1) with a cylindrical or elliptic cylindrical outer contour, a spray head (6) with a circuit board (5) is arranged outside the ink box body (1), the spray head (6) corresponds to an ink outlet (3), and contacts (7) connected with control lines of the spray head (6) are integrated on the circuit board (5); and a rotary fixed surface of the ink box body (1) is parallel to a rotary injection surface of the spray head (6).
Pressure control unit and liquid discharge device including pressure control unit
A pressure control unit includes a liquid storage chamber, an inflow port that allows the liquid to flow therein, and an outflow port that allows the liquid to flow out thereof, the pressure control unit controlling pressure of the liquid, wherein at least part of an outer wall of the liquid storage chamber is formed of a flexible film, a pressing plate that presses the flexible film, an urging member that urges the pressing plate, and a valve that opens and closes the outflow port. The pressing plate moves in a direction of expanding the liquid storage chamber, whereby the valve in contact with the pressing plate moves and makes a valve opening degree of the outflow port high. A range of motion of the valve when making the valve opening degree of the outflow port high is limited by a member other than the pressing plate.
SUPPLY UNIT AND LIQUID DISCHARGING APPARATUS
A supply unit in which a liquid container including a coupling portion being detachably mounted includes: a liquid introduction unit coupled to the coupling portion of the liquid container; an urging member that urges the liquid container in an uncoupling direction which is a direction opposite to a coupling direction, the coupling direction being a direction in which the liquid container is coupled to the liquid introduction unit; and an engagement lever having an engaging portion that engages with the liquid container when the liquid container is coupled to the liquid introduction unit, the engagement lever includes an operating portion operated by a user and a pressing portion configured to press the liquid container and is configured to release the engagement of the engaging portion with the liquid container when the operating portion is operated and to press the liquid container in the uncoupling direction by the pressing portion.
PRESSURE FLUCTUATION SUPPRESSION DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING DEVICE
A pressure fluctuation suppression device including a suppressor and a detector. The suppressor is disposed on a flow path of a liquid and suppresses fluctuations in pressure of the liquid in the flow path. The detector detects deterioration of a suppression function of the suppressor.
PRINTING APPARATUS AND PRINTING METHOD
A printing apparatus that performs printing through an inkjet method includes an inkjet head and an ink supply system, where the ink supply system includes a pressure damper that is a pressure adjustment mechanism, a flow path that is a container-side flow path, and a connecting member in which a flow path that is a head-side flow path for flowing ink from the pressure damper to the inkjet head is formed, the pressure damper supplies ink adjusted to a pressure in a predetermined range lower than atmospheric pressure from an output port that is a pressure adjustment mechanism outlet to the flow path, and a flow path cross-sectional area of at least one part of the flow path in the connecting member is larger than a flow path cross-sectional area of the output port.
