Inkjet printing apparatus and storage medium storing program
A controller extracts an image resolution in a first direction of image data stored in a memory; determines, based on the image data, whether a code image is included in an image to be printed on a recording medium, the code image being formed with a plurality of print regions and a plurality of non-print regions; in response to determining that the code image is included, determines whether a print resolution in the first direction is lower than the extracted image resolution in the first direction; in response to determining that the print resolution is lower than the extracted image resolution, updates the print resolution in the first direction with a value equal to or higher than the extracted image resolution in the first direction; and controls a print engine to perform printing on the recording medium with the updated print resolution in the first direction.
PRINTER HAVING SEPARATED PRINTHEAD ARRAY AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A PRINTER HAVING A SEPARATED PRINTHEAD ARRAY
A printer is configured with at least two printheads that are separated from one another in a cross-process direction by an integral multiple of printhead widths. This configuration enables parallel swaths of material to be ejected and then movement of the printheads in the cross-process direction by a distance corresponding to one or more integral numbers of the printhead width enables the area between the swaths to be completed and the area outside of the original swaths printed.
Printing Device Capable of Realizing Combined Jet Printing
The invention relates to the field of printing and dyeing and discloses a printing device capable of realizing combined jet printing including a cross beam, inkjet devices and a power device, wherein at least two inkjet devices are provided and installed on the cross beam as well as can be driven by the power device to move relative to the cross beam, the inkjet devices can move relative to the cross beam in a separate manner and can implement the inkjet action separately. According to the invention, the jet printing of ground color and pattern can be realized in the equipment by arranging at least two inkjet devices capable of moving in a separate manner in one cross beam, which is conducive to reducing the enterprise cost; meanwhile, transfer links of a medium among different equipments are avoided to improve the production efficiency.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ORGANIC EL DISPLAY PANEL
Forming functional layers including functional material in application regions by applying ink to the application regions then drying the ink, which contains the functional material, by causing nozzles to be scanned relative to the substrate along the row direction while, among the nozzles, only use-nozzles that are not selected as a defective nozzle eject the ink, the nozzles being arranged in the column direction over the substrate and including a nozzle selected in advance as a defective nozzle. Among the nozzles, when applying the ink, at least one reserve nozzle is present, a reserve nozzle being a nozzle that is not one of the use-nozzles, is not selected as the defective nozzle, passes over the application region, and does not eject the ink.
RECORDING DEVICE
A recording device includes, when a transporting direction of a medium is set to a first axis and a direction intersecting with the transporting direction is set to a second axis, a head which includes a nozzle column along the first axis; a pair of heads in which the heads discharging droplets of the same color are paired; and a head unit which includes a plurality of pairs of heads along the second axis. The pair of heads include a predetermined overlapping portion in which the nozzle columns are overlapped with each other in a side view from the second axis, the overlapping portion includes a plurality of nozzle regions divided along the second axis, and a position of the nozzle region which is used in discharge of the droplets is different from a position of the nozzle region of another pair of heads.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD
In an image forming apparatus (an ink jet printer 100), in a sub scanning direction, when an area in arrange of a nozzle at an end portion of a head (41) to a nozzle at a predetermined distance is set as a predetermined area, and a medium is transported in a certain amount by using the head (41), a scan portion, and a transport portion so as to form an image on medium sheet (10), the number of times of scanning for forming a dot array which is formed by using the nozzles included in the predetermined area is more than the number of times of the scanning for forming a dot array which does not use the nozzle in the predetermined area, and the number of times of the scanning for forming the dot array by using the nozzles included in the predetermined area is at least three times.
LIQUID DISCHARGE APPARATUS
A liquid discharge apparatus includes: a liquid discharge head configured to discharge a liquid onto a printing medium to form an image on the printing medium; a conveyor configured to convey the printing medium to the liquid discharge head in a conveyance direction; a carriage mounting the liquid discharge head, the carriage configured to move the liquid discharge head in a first direction orthogonal to the conveyance direction; and a controller configured to calculate a control parameter to shift a printing position of the liquid discharge head in at least one of the first direction or the conveyance direction for each time the conveyor conveying the printing medium.
PRINTING CONTROL APPARATUS AND PRINTING CONTROL METHOD
A printing control apparatus includes a control unit configured to perform control so that a distribution ratio based on which color separation data separated as having a predetermined color is distributed into data for a first nozzle array and a distribution ratio based on which color separation data is distributed into data for a second nozzle array are different depending on a tone value in the color separation data, and a generation unit configured to generate printing data to be used for printing by the first nozzle array based on the distributed data for the first nozzle array and generate printing data to be used for printing by the second nozzle array based on the distributed data for the second nozzle array.
