INKJET PRINTING DEVICE
The present application provides an inkjet printing device, which includes a print head, a first container, a first pipeline, and a first valve. The print head is configured to discharge printing material. The first container is configured to store a solvent for cleaning the print head. An input end of the first pipeline is in communication with the first container, and an output end of the first pipeline is in communication with the print head. The first valve is provided on the first pipeline.
Inkjet recording apparatus
Provided is an inkjet recording apparatus that performs inkjet recording on a recording medium in a recording region. The inkjet recording apparatus includes a recording head that includes an ejection port surface where an ejection port for ejecting ink is provided, is the recording head being movable within a range including the recording region and a non-recording region where the recording is not performed, a cap capable of letting the ejection port in a capping state in the non-recording region, a blade that is placed between the recording region and the cap in a moving direction of the recording head, the blade being capable of wiping the ejection port of the recording head as the recording head moves from the non-recording region to the recording region, a blade moving unit capable of moving the blade up and down, and a control unit that controls the blade moving unit.
Printhead priming and venting
An example apparatus includes a cap to seal a printhead in a printhead assembly, where the cap includes a priming port and a venting port. A vent connected to the venting port is sealed by a cam controlled vent-arm while a vacuum pump connected to the priming port applies a vacuum to prime the printhead. The vent is unsealed by the cam controlled vent-arm and the vacuum pump clears ink from the priming cap.
FLUID MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR INKJET MACHINES
Embodiments described herein provide for a fluid management system and a method of utilizing the fluid management system. The fluid management system includes a servicing fluid management system and an ink management system. The servicing fluid management system and the ink management system run in parallel within an inkjet chamber. The ink management system supports the flow of inkjet materials between a waste tank, one or more inkjet material supply tanks, an ink management module, and the inkjet printer. The servicing fluid management system supports the flow of servicing fluids between the waste tank, one or more servicing fluid supply tanks, a servicing fluid management module, and the inkjet printer.
TUBE PUMP AND PRINTING APPARATUS
A tube pump that sends a fluid includes a tube, a roller, and a roller holder. In the roller holder, a guide groove is formed that receives a shaft of the roller and defines a range in which the roller is movable with respect to the roller holder. The roller holder has an inner side surface and an outer side surface as surfaces defining the guide groove in the roller holder. The inner side surface has a protrusion protruding toward the outer side surface.
Recording head recovery system, ink-jet recording apparatus therewith, and recording head recovery method
A recording head recovery system includes a recording head, a cleaning liquid tank for storing cleaning liquid, a cleaning liquid supplying path which connects together the cleaning liquid tank and the recording head, a liquid supply mechanism which is provided in the cleaning liquid supplying path, and a controller. The controller performs recording head recovery operation including cleaning liquid supplying operation for supplying the cleaning liquid from liquid supplying openings of the recording head, wiping operation for wiping an ink ejection face of the recording head while a wiper retains the cleaning liquid, and backflow operation for controlling the liquid supply mechanism to make the cleaning liquid in the cleaning liquid supplying path to flow from the cleaning liquid supplying openings to the cleaning liquid tank.
WASTE LIQUID CONTAINER AND LIQUID EJECTING APPARATUS
A waste liquid container for collecting waste liquid ejected from a liquid ejection head that ejects liquid, including a receiving member that has a receiving surface on which the waste liquid drips and a waste liquid absorbing member configured to absorb the waste liquid, wherein the waste liquid is flowable over the receiving surface and the receiving surface has a surface energy distribution for flowing the waste liquid to the waste liquid absorbing member.
LIQUID EJECTING APPARATUS AND MAINTENANCE METHOD OF LIQUID EJECTING APPARATUS
A liquid ejecting apparatus includes a liquid ejecting portion that has a supply port, a second discharge port, a plurality of nozzles, and a nozzle surface on which a plurality of the nozzles are open, and that discharges the liquid from the nozzles, a liquid supply flow path coupled to the supply port so that the liquid is supplied to the liquid ejecting portion, and a liquid return flow path coupled to the second discharge port so that the liquid supplied to the liquid ejecting portion is returned to the liquid supply flow path, in which a pressure lowering operation of lowering a pressure in the liquid ejecting portion is performed in a state where a flow of the liquid in the liquid return flow path is blocked after performing a pressurization discharge operation of pressurizing the liquid in the liquid ejecting portion and discharging the liquid from the nozzle.
LIQUID EJECTION APPARATUS
A liquid ejection apparatus is disclosed. One apparatus includes a nozzle through which fluid is ejected or purged, and a pressure regulating valve arranged upstream of the nozzle. The pressure regulating valve is configured to open in response to an open/close pressure differential of the fluid across the pressure regulating valve. The pressure regulating valve is configured to controllably regulate the open/close pressure differential. The apparatus further includes a controller configured to, when a suction pump is being operated to perform a first purging operation comprising creating a first negative pressure through suctioning by the suction pump to purge the fluid through the nozzle, control the pressure regulating valve to set the open/close pressure differential of the pressure regulating valve to a first value.
PRINT DEVICE
A print device includes a processor, and a memory. The processor performs processes. The processes include a covering control processing controlling the cap into a covering state in which the cap covers the nozzle. The processes include supply processing supplying, after the covering control processing, the cleaning liquid to the cap from the supply flow path. The processes include hold processing holding, after the supply processing and in a state in which the cleaning liquid has soaked the nozzle face, the cleaning liquid in the cap. The processes include first determination processing determining, after the hold processing, whether a print request has been received. The processes include discharge processing discharging, in a case where a power on signal has been detected or in a case where the first determination processing has determined that the print request has been received, the cleaning liquid that has been held in the cap.
