Print head drive circuit and liquid ejecting apparatus
A print head drive circuit drives a print head including an ejecting portion ejecting a liquid in response to a drive signal propagating through a drive signal line and a storage portion storing ejecting portion-related information changing in accordance with use of the ejecting portion, in which processing of reading the ejecting portion-related information changing in accordance with the use from the storage portion is performed before the drive signal for ejecting the liquid from the ejecting portion is supplied to the print head.
RECORDING DEVICE AND CURL DETERMINATION METHOD
There is provided a recording device including a transport section that transports paper along a support surface; a recording section; a determination region setting section; a liquid volume ratio calculation section; a determination section; and a recording position adjustment section that, when the determination section determines that the average value is larger than the threshold, adjusts a distance of the recording section from the support surface to a distance which is longer than a case in which the average value is not larger than the threshold.
Printing apparatus, service providing system, and printing apparatus control method
A service printer includes a printer printing unit that executes a print function, a scanning unit that executes a scan function, a printer communication unit that acquires, from a service providing server that provides a delivery service of delivering ink, status information indicating at least one of the status of a contract for use of the delivery service and the status of payment of the usage fee for the delivery service, and a printer controller that enables or disables execution of the print function and execution of the scan function based on at least one of the contract status and the payment status that are indicated by the status information acquired by the printer communication unit.
Liquid ejecting apparatus and method for activating liquid ejecting apparatus
A liquid ejecting apparatus includes a printing portion and a control portion. The printing portion executes a printing operation including ejecting a liquid from a nozzle onto a medium. The control portion executes an initial operation upon supply of power and executes the printing operation in accordance with a print instruction. The initial operation and the printing operation include a common printing operation that is common to the initial operation and the printing operation. When the control portion does not receive the print instruction during execution of the initial operation, the control portion executes the initial operation including the common printing operation. When the control portion receives the print instruction during execution of the initial operation, the control portion omits the common printing operation from the initial operation.
RECORDING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR RECORDING
A recording apparatus includes an ink tank, a recording head, a carriage, an ink supply channel, one or more memory devices, and one or more processors to execute the set of instructions to perform operations including causing the recording head to eject the ink based on print data to perform recording on a recording medium; and obtaining, based on the print data, information on an amount of ink to be ejected to a recordable area in which the carriage moves in one of the first direction and the second direction. A length of the ink supply channel from the bend to the recording head increases in the first direction and decreases in the second direction. The one or more processors changes acceleration of the carriage according to the amount of ink to be ejected to the recordable area, the amount being indicated by the information.
IMAGE RECORDING APPARATUS
An image recording apparatus includes a controller configured to: (a) when a remaining amount of ink at the time of receiving a recording start instruction to start image recording on one recording medium is equal to or less than a predetermined amount and a calculated ink remaining amount is less than a required ink amount, not to start the image recording; and (b) when the remaining amount of ink at the time of receiving the recording start instruction is more than the predetermined amount, start the image recording according to the recording start instruction and, during the image recording according to the recording start instruction, when the remaining amount of ink is equal to or less than the predetermined amount and the calculated ink remaining amount is equal to or less than a threshold, interrupt the image recording.
Image forming apparatus
In an image forming apparatus, a control unit (a) sets an ink residual estimation value of a subtank as a first reference value corresponding to a tank capacity of the subtank when ink empty is detected on an ink container, and determines whether the ink residual estimation value is less than the ink consumption estimation value of a subsequent page in a print job or not, and (b1) stops the print job if the ink residual estimation value is less than the ink consumption estimation value of the subsequent page and (b2) continues the print job if the ink residual estimation value is equal to or larger than the ink consumption estimation value of the subsequent page.
SELECTING BETWEEN BLACK PRINT AND PROCESS BLACK PRINT
An example method comprises identifying a plurality of supply levels corresponding to a set of print supplies of a print device. The example method further comprises coordinating depletion of the set of print supplies by selecting between black print and process black print for a print job of the print device based on the plurality of supply levels.
Printing apparatus
A transport section transports a continuous printing paper in a predetermined transport direction. A first print section ejects first ink to the printing paper. A second print section is provided in a downstream side of the first print section in the transport direction, and ejects second ink to the printing paper. An ink amount estimating section estimates an amount of ink ejected to the printing paper from before printing by the first print section to before printing by the second print section, based on print data. A deviation amount obtaining section obtains a deviation amount between a print position by the first print section and a print position by the second print section at least based on the estimated ink amount. A print control section controls the print position by the second print section based on the deviation amount.
PRINT FLUID DELIVERY WITH FLUID INDICATOR RESERVOIRS
In one example in accordance with the present disclosure, a print fluid delivery system is described. The print fluid delivery system includes a main reservoir to hold a volume of print fluid to be supplied to a printhead and a fluid indicator reservoir fluidly coupled to the main reservoir. The fluid indicator reservoir visually indicates a fluid level through an aperture in a printing system housing. The fluid indicator reservoir and the main reservoir have a same fluid level. The print fluid delivery system also includes a fluid transport system to transport fluid through the print fluid delivery system.
