When printing on the same printing object with multiple print nozzles in the past, consideration was not given to cases in which the time relationships of the set times and times-to-be-printed become mismatched between the respective print items of the print nozzles. To solve said problem, the present invention is an inkjet printer for printing on a conveyed printing object and having multiple print nozzles, multiple auxiliary control units for controlling the printing performed by the multiple print nozzles, and a common main control unit connected to the multiple auxiliary control units via communication means. The main control unit is configured to be equipped with: an extracting function for extracting the time relationship of the set times and the time relationship of the times-to-be-printed between the items to be printed by the respective print nozzles of the multiple print nozzles; and a revising function for revising the print data so as to preserve the time relationship of the set times.

Electronic device

An electronic device includes: an operation section, a reception section, a human body detection sensor, and a mode switching section. The mode switching section switches the electronic device between a normal operation mode permitting a normal operation and a sleep mode in a power saving state based on presence or absence of a detection signal from the human body detection sensor. Then the mode switching section stops in a case where a state in which the reception section receives an operation made by use of the operation section continues for a predefined period of time the switching between the normal operation mode and the sleep mode based on the presence or absence of the detection signal.

ALIGNMENT MODULE USED IN PRINTING

A printing system includes an identification module to identify a number of the encoder pulses generated by an encoder at a rate corresponding to a speed of a media during a time interval. The printing system also includes an alignment module to at least one of change the number of encoder pulses or scale the encoder pulses generated by the encoder based on an amount of variation between the number of encoder pulses detected and the number of encoder pulses to maintain the number of encoder pulses constant.

DIGITAL PRINTING PRESS
20170232730 · 2017-08-17 ·

A digital printing press includes a printing cylinder configured to transport a sheet, a driving device (41) configured to drive the printing cylinder, an encoder (44) configured to detect the phase of the printing cylinder, and first to fourth inkjet heads (23-26) configured to print the sheet. The digital printing press includes a floating detector (22) facing the printing cylinder and configured to detect an abnormality of the sheet, a display device (8), and a control device (28) configured to control an operation of the driving device (41). The control device (28) includes a function of stopping the driving device (41) when the floating detector (22) detects a floating portion. The control device (28) includes a function of obtaining information specifiable a position of an abnormality occurrence portion based on the phase of the printing cylinder when the floating detector (22) detects the floating portion and the phase of the printing cylinder when the driving device (41) stops after floating detection and displaying the information on the display device (8). It is possible to provide a digital printing press capable of quickly specifying an abnormality occurrence portion detected during printing.
