Printing system and printing control apparatus
A printing system includes a first printing unit that performs printing using a material that exhibits structural color, based on first data, a second printing unit that performs printing using a material that includes pigment, based on second data, and a control apparatus that outputs the first data and the second data; the first data causes the first printing unit to print the first personal information items of a first information group in respective regions, and an item of identification information linked to the first information group; and the second data causes the second printing unit to print the second personal information items of a second information group linked to the item of identification information on the corresponding respective regions on which the first personal information items corresponding to the respective second personal information items have been printed.
PRINTER SYSTEM
[Object] To provide a printer system that is simple in structure, and has dual-head capability or duplex printing capability as desired.
[Solution] A printer system 1 includes a first printer unit 10, and a second printer unit 20. The first printer unit 10 includes a first-printer housing 10a, and a first thermal transfer part 13. The second printer unit 20 includes a second-printer housing 20a, and a second thermal transfer part 23. The first printer unit 10 and the second printer unit 20 are independent of each other and capable of connecting to each other. A sheet printing paper 2 printed on by the first printer unit 10 is sent to the second printer unit 20 and then continuously printed on by the second printer unit 20.

Printing apparatus for web
A controller: generates a first corrected pulse signal by correcting a received first pulse signal or generate a second corrected pulse signal by correcting a received second pulse signal, based on a difference value between a first rotation cycle of a first roller and a second rotation cycle of a second roller such that a difference between a first pulse cycle of the received first pulse signal and a second pulse cycle of the received second pulse signal is reduced; upon generating the first corrected pulse signal, controls first print timings in respective first print mechanisms of a first printer based on the generated first corrected pulse signal; and upon generating the second corrected pulse signal, controls second print timings in respective second print mechanisms of a second printer based on the generated second corrected pulse signal.
