Industrial printer
A high speed tabletop and industrial printer is disclosed with integrated high speed RFID encoding and verification at the same time. The industrial printer simultaneously prints on and electronically encodes/verifies RFID labels, tags, and/or stickers attached to a continuous web. The industrial printer comprises a lighted sensor array for indexing the printing to the RFID tags; and a cutter powered from the industrial printer for cutting the web that the RFID tags are disposed on. The industrial printer comprises two RFID reader/writers that are individually controlled. Specifically, one of the RFID reader/writers comprises the ability to electronically encode the RFID tags while the web is moving; and the second RFID reader/writer uses an additional RFID module and antenna on the printer for verifying the data encoded to the RFID tags.
THREE-DIMENSIONAL IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM AND THREE-DIMENSIONAL IMAGE FORMING DEVICE
A three-dimensional image forming system according to the present invention includes a conveying unit which conveys a heat-expandable sheet along a conveyance path, a heating unit which heats the heat-expandable sheet by irradiating the heat-expandable sheet with light, and a control unit which preheats the surroundings of the heating unit to a previously determined preheat temperature and then causes the conveying unit to convey the heat-expandable sheet.
LASER PRINTING ON CURVED SURFACES
The invention relates to a process for printing a substrate (7) containing curved surface sections by using an ink printing assembly with a movable print head (8) comprising an ink carrier (1) having an ink layer, the ink layer being irradiated regionally in such a way that heat bulges are formed in the ink layer which cause the splitting of ink droplets so that the ink printing assembly is working as nozzle-less droplet ejector for ejecting droplets of ink from the ink layer, where the distance between the print head (8) and the curved sections of the substrate (7) is adjusted by moving the print head relative to the substrate by providing the print head with three degrees of freedom in translation, allowing horizontal (Tx), vertical (Tg) and in depth (Tz) translations.
Sublimation printing on to dark surfaces
A heat transfer process on to a stainless steel cup with a dark surface involves a stainless steel dark surface treatment layer arranged on a base layer of the outer circular surface of the cup body. The stainless steel dark surface treatment layer is sequentially arranged as at least one wire screen printing layer, a resin layer, and a thermal transfer image layer. The is one or several screen printing layers on the dark rough surface to fill up the rough pits on the dark surface to form a smooth surface and then a thermal transfer resin coating is applied, followed by heat transfer printing. A colorful personalized product can thus be produced from the cup.

Specifically, one of the RFID reader/writers comprises the ability to electronically encode the RFID tags while the web is moving; and the second RFID reader/writer uses an additional RFID module and antenna on the printer for verifying the data encoded to the RFID tags. The printer provides for successive writes to various memory blocks and optimizes the communication sequence between the interrogator and tag.
IMAGE FORMING METHOD, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, AND IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM
An image forming method for forming an image on a cloth with a sublimation coloring material, the image forming method including: pretreatment liquid applying that is applying a pretreatment liquid to the cloth; drying that is drying the cloth after the pretreatment liquid applying; and sublimation coloring material applying that is applying the sublimation coloring material to the cloth after the drying. The pretreatment liquid contains an organic compound, and a heat source and the cloth are not in contact with each other in the drying.
